Action from Slingshot and Swamp Thing monster trucks, stunt rider Johnny Davies and Formula G drift team in the Live Action Arena will enrich the fan experience at American SpeedFest 11.
On 2 May, SpeedFest organizers MotorSport Vision announced the line-up of participants for Live Action Arena, one of the off-track attractions that will liven up the atmosphere at American SpeedFest 11, Powered by Lucas Oil.
The Slingshot and Swamp Thing monster truck returns as the main headliner of the Live Action Arena. Additional performances will be provided by stunt rider and Guinness World Record holder Johnny Davies and the Formula G drift team.
“The line-up for the Live Action Arena at American SpeedFest 11 powered by Lucas Oil has been revealed, with power, speed, and extreme vehicle control at the core of a thrilling weekend-long programme,” announced MotorSport Vision.
“This year’s line-up includes the return of headline monster trucks Slingshot and Swamp Thing. Both giants will be subjected to a range of tests to see which is faster, more powerful, and most importantly which can leap the furthest!”
“But there is more to the show than just monster trucks. Formula G’s skilled precision Gymkhana drivers will lead things off with a sequence of timed drift battles with cars negotiating a series of obstacles right on the edge of traction.”
“That will be followed by a performance from Guinness World Record holding motorcycle stunt rider Johnny Davies before the Formula G team returns to the arena for a freestyle drift extravaganza.”
Live Action Arena performances will be done three times a day during the SpeedFest weekend. Access to the arena is free for spectators, but grandstand seats are available as an option for £5 per show.
The 2024 edition of EuroNASCAR’s Brands Hatch classic will take place on 8-9 June. Tickets for SpeedFest 11 can be purchased at Brands Hatch’s official website.
