A total of 27 different drivers and 22 different teams have scored a Pole Position in the top EuroNASCAR PRO division since the first season of official NASCAR sanctioning in 2012.

MOST POLE POSITIONS IN A SEASON
Vittorio Ghirelli currently holds the record for the most pole position in a single EuroNASCAR PRO season with eleven (11).
Ghirelli was absolutely dominant in Qualifying for the 2024 season. The Italian driver took all seven Qualifying Pole Position Awards and converted four fastest laps into four more pole positions, making him the first driver in history to score more than 10 pole positions in a single season.

Ander Vilariño currently holds the record for the most pole position in their debut EuroNASCAR PRO season with five (5).
While Vilariño has made appearances in the series prior to NASCAR’s takeover, the five pole positions that he scored on EuroNASCAR’s first season under NASCAR sanctioning in 2012 still stands as the EuroNASCAR PRO record to this day.

YOUNGEST DRIVER TO START ON POLE
Paul Jouffreau is the youngest pole sitter in EuroNASCAR PRO. Jouffreau was 19 years and 222 days old when he scored his first pole position in the second race of the 2023 American Festival of Rome at Autodromo Vallelunga.
Jouffreau beat the previous record set by Eddie Cheever III, who was 21 years and 1 day old when he started on pole in Race 2 of the 2014 American SpeedFest II at Brands Hatch.

OLDEST DRIVER TO START ON POLE
Jacques Villeneuve is the oldest pole sitter in EuroNASCAR PRO. Villeneuve was 50 years and 205 days old when he secured pole position for Race 2 of the 2021 American Festival of Rome at Autodromo Vallelunga.
He beat the previous record set by Bert Longin, who was 48 years and 168 days old when he scored his only EuroNASCAR PRO pole position in the 2014 Valencia NASCAR Fest at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

FEWEST RACES BEFORE FIRST POLE POSITION
Three drivers have managed to start their first EuroNASCAR PRO race on pole position: Ander Vilariño, Bert Longin and Vladimiros Tziortzis (pictured).
Vilariño became the first driver to do so when he qualified on pole for the first EuroNASCAR PRO race under NASCAR’s official sanctioning at Circuit Paul Armagnac in 2012.
Two years later at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Bert Longin became just the second driver to accomplish this feat. Longin took pole position for his debut race in the 2014 Valencia NASCAR Fest, the only pole position on his EuroNASCAR career.
It would take until 2023 before the feat was emulated for a third time. Tziortzis qualified first on his debut EuroNASCAR PRO race at the Valencia NASCAR Fest. Because he also clinched pole position in EuroNASCAR OPEN, this pole position was notable as it meant that the Cypriot became the first to secure a pole position sweep in EuroNASCAR history.

It took Lasserre sixty-six (66) races before he finally started on pole position, which he achieved in the season ending 2023 EuroNASCAR Finals race at Circuit Zolder.

The Italian has yet to start on pole position after 100 races. His best starting position was a sixth place that he achieved in Race 2 of the 2016 Autospeedway American Style at Raceway Venray.
