We presented a recap of all drivers and teams that have officially announced their plans to compete in the 2024 EuroNASCAR season up until early February.

Time has slowly ticked down for the annual off-season period for the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series competitors as drivers and teams have slowly begun to confirm their roster.

After a flurry of announcements that was reported at the start of the month, we figured that it’s the right time to recap the roster that have confirmed their plans so far.

Just like last year’s Silly Season Recap, this list is going to be ordered by the date of announcement.

SpeedHouse Racing

Lucas Lasserre’s SpeedHouse Racing was the first team to lock a driver for 2024 when they announced that Ulysse Delsaux is signed to a two-year contract with the French team on 21 April 2023.

A few weeks later during the Valencia NASCAR Fest, specifically on 7 May 2023, Lasserre announced that his team had signed Spanish karting star Dani Briz to the SpeedHouse Academy Program in 2024.

Briz is expected to become SpeedHouse’s new lead driver in the regularity-based EuroNASCAR Club Challenge. While that is not made official yet, the signs are pointing that way following the announcement of Florian Richard’s promotion to EuroNASCAR 2 on 3 February 2024.

RDV Competition

Reigning EuroNASCAR Team’s Champion RDV Competition wasted little time to retain the services of their superstar driver Paul Jouffreau.

RDV team boss Franck Violas and Jouffreau visited Circuit Ricardo Tormo on 30 October 2023 to announce Jouffreau’s full-time move to EuroNASCAR PRO, just two weeks after Jouffreau clinched both the EuroNASCAR 2 and Team’s title at Zolder.

Academy Motorsport

Academy Motorsport will continue their partnership with Vladimiros Tziortzis after the Cypriot driver announced his contract extension on 7 November 2023 in a press conference that was held in Nicosia.

Unlike last year, Tziortzis will not race double duty as they found a new EuroNASCAR 2 driver to race for the No. 5 team: Claudio Remigio Cappelli, who announced his move to Alex Caffi and Federico Monti’s joint-venture team on 29 January 2024.

The No. 5 team had also announced a new livery for this season, featuring Cappelli’s family venture Cremona Gronde as the new primary sponsor.

Granducato Speed

An aspiring EuroNASCAR entrant in Granducato Speed announced Italian driver Thomas Papa as their driver for the upcoming 2024 season on 18 November 2023. He was reported to be signed to a three-year deal, although it is unknown what class he’s going to race just yet.

Unfortunately for the team, thanks to their lack of updates, this news went unnoticed by virtually everyone until 29 January 2024, where they publicly made it known that they’re testing their EuroNASCAR machine at Autodromo Nazionale dell’Umbria.

Bremotion

On 2-10 December 2023, the Essen Motor Show in Germany hosted a special exhibition to celebrate NASCAR’s 75th anniversary. It is thus appropriate that EuroNASCAR’s German teams Bremotion and Marko Stipp Motorsport used the event to announce their first drivers of the season.

Bremotion was the first to pull the trigger on 4 December, the first public day of the event. On that day, they announced that Dominique Schaak will be the full-time EuroNASCAR 2 driver of the No. 99 team, making him the first EN2 driver confirmed for 2024.

Marko Stipp Motorsport

Marko Stipp Motorsport waited until the penultimate day of Essen Motor Show to make their move. MSM’s current lead EuroNASCAR PRO driver Thomas Krasonis will continue for a second season with the team, although this time he is set to race in both classes with the No. 46 Chevrolet Camaro.

Hendriks Motorsport

2021 EuroNASCAR 2 champion Martin Doubek will once again do double duty with four-time Team’s champion Hendriks Motorsport. Announced on 22 December 2023, the news confirms the Czech’s plan to race his tenth season in the sport.

No EuroNASCAR PRO driver is announced for the No. 50 Toyota squad just yet, but they have confirmed that Gil Linster will be staying on 4 February 2024. Linster’s continued participation has been hinted at before when he revealed that his ARCA sponsors were interested in sponsoring him for the 2024 EuroNASCAR season.

Lux Motorsport

A month after the Essen Motor Show was held, EuroNASCAR exhibited their cars in the 2024 Autosport International Show. Held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Center, it allowed fans from the UK to build up hype for the eleventh edition of the American SpeedFest.

But it wasn’t just EuroNASCAR that put up a show. Lux Motorsport is also present with their own chassis and much like Bremotion and MSM, they used the event to announce their entry to the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series.

Entering the pink-liveried No. 21 GT Omega Chevrolet Camaro with reigning Rookie Trophy winner Jack Davidson in EN2, Lux is currently looking for drivers to fill in the seat in ENPRO.

Race Planet Team Bleekemolen

Team Bleekemolen will continue to field Sebastiaan Bleekemolen and Melvin de Groot in the No. 69 car as well as Thomas Dombrowski in the No. 66 car, as announced on 18 January and 25 January respectively, although there will be two slight changes.

One is that the No. 69 car will be switching body styles from a Ford Mustang to a Toyota Camry. The second is their identity, which will be incorporating their long-time sponsor Race Planet – also owned by the Bleekemolen family – into their official name in the Entry List.

CAAL Racing

Italian powerhouse CAAL Racing made back-to-back announcements on 30 January and 31 January 2024 that confirmed Sven van Laere and Max Lanza’s stay with the team.

Lanza remains as the ENPRO driver of CAAL’s No. 88 team, but van Laere is now designated as the new EN2 driver of the flagship No. 54 team, leaving Alberto Naska as a free agent for the 2024 transfer market.

Double V Racing

Francesco Vignali’s Double V Racing will have a new driver in EuroNASCAR 2 after they signed Sharks Team Italia affiliated driver and reigning Legend Cars Italia champion Simone Giussani on 1 February 2024.

While this announcement meant that Patrick Schober will not race the No. 27 Ford Mustang in EuroNASCAR’s junior class, the Austrian and his family are currently working hard to secure the funds needed for 2024.

Race Art Technology

Currently the last team to confirm at least one entry for 2024, Race Art Technology will also retain Thomas Toffel and Edouard Fatio in the No. 34 Chevrolet Camaro team as announced on 2 February.

Both Toffel and Fatio will continue to race in the same classes that they raced in 2023, but their car will have a brand new look courtesy of Fatio’s company SIMATOK stepping up to become its new primary sponsor.
