British team Lux Motorsport is set to enter EuroNASCAR after they announced their entry to the 2024 season with Jack Davidson as the lead driver of the No. 21 GTOmega Camaro.
The United Kingdom will have a team representing the country in the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season after Lux Motorsport announced that they will be entering the series with the No. 21 GTOmega Chevrolet Camaro.
Lux Motorsport, owned by Jack Davidson’s father John, revealed their entry during the 2024 Autosport International Show, held from 11-14 January at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
Jack Davidson, who won the Rookie Trophy with Marko Stipp Motorsport in 2023, will continue to compete in EuroNASCAR 2 as he chases for championship glory with his family-owned team.

“We have the experience to build, maintain and prepare a race car,” said Jack Davidson to euronascar.com. “We want to bring our experience to an international series, which is why we chose to enter EuroNASCAR.”
“We also want to connect with drivers from the UK who want to learn more about European NASCAR. Being based in the UK is a big advantage for us to race in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, but also a good thing for the championship to have another footprint here.”

Lux Motorsport was formed in 2019 to support Davidson in the Mini Challenge UK. The team also started its efforts as a two-car team, fielding Davidson and female driver Hannah Chapman for the full season.
It only took four races for Lux to score their maiden victory after Davidson took a hard-fought win at Snetterton, the first major silverware for the Stirling-based team.
Lux greatly expanded their entry in the COVID-affected 2020 season, fielding up to six Mini’s in select races. This trend continued in the next two seasons with Lux entering four and three full-time entries in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

2021 proved to be Lux’s most successful year with Davidson scoring three victories and four more podiums, which was enough for fourth place in the overall standings – only losing out on countback to Lewis Brown, who scored four wins.
Lux exited Mini Challenge UK in 2023 to facilitate Davidson’s move to MSM, but now the team is ready to make their biggest step forward yet as they are set to become EuroNASCAR’s first ever British-based team.

To make their presence known, Lux will be racing with a bright pink livery – as revealed on the car that’s displayed at Autosport International Show.
“You can see the car from all over the track,” said Davidson on why Lux decided to race with a pink livery. “When the sun is shining on it, it will be very, very bright. It will make you stand out when you have a unique car on the grid. Not many guys in the sport in general wear pink, so I want to do something different.”
“GTOmega is back and I’m really grateful for that. We want to get some good results. We want to do some testing and prepare as well as we can to feel the car a little bit better.”
