NASCAR Whelen Euro Series has announced their 2024 season schedule, featuring a seven round extravaganza headlined by the returning NASCAR Oval GP at Raceway Venray.
NASCAR Whelen Euro Series has officially announced their schedule for the 2024 season, revealing the biggest schedule that the series has had in its history and the return of two major components of the championship.
Europe’s premier stock car racing series will enter its 13th season under NASCAR’s official jurisdiction – and its 16th season overall – with the return of a seven-round schedule that was last seen in 2019.
Unlike 2019 where the series only had 13 races scheduled, the 2024 season will have 14 races planned to be held for its championships. The season will consist of 10 regular season races and 4 double points playoff races, marking a return of the four-race playoff format after four years of absence.

“This 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series calendar is the best in the Series history!” said EuroNASCAR’s President, CEO and founder Jerome Galpin. “Each one of these destinations brings its own flavor and identity to the NASCAR Official Championship, providing fans, teams and drivers a great diversity of racing experiences.”
“We can’t thank our fantastic circuit partners enough, each one of them sharing the same ambition to build great American Festivals to entertain tens of thousands of fans and families. This 2024 season will be another big step in the development of NASCAR in Europe.”

All six championship rounds from 2023 will be retained, with the NASCAR GP Spain – Valencia NASCAR Fest at Circuit Ricardo Tormo set to kickstart the 2024 season on 13-14 April.
The traditional season opening venue will be the place where the V8-powered monsters roared back to life for the start of a new campaign. EuroNASCAR will also host their traditional Prologue test day on 11 April in Valencia.

One change to NASCAR GP Spain is that it will be returning to its April slot as another round will be taking over the May slot for 2024: NASCAR GP Italy – American Festival of Rome at Autodromo Vallelunga, scheduled to be held on 18-19 May.
The 4.005 kilometer long circuit in Campagnano di Roma will be welcoming the EuroNASCAR gladiators next. It will also give Vallelunga their fourth different round positioning in five years as they previously hosted the season opener in 2020, the season finale in 2021 and the third round in the past two seasons.

EuroNASCAR’s “crown jewel” round American SpeedFest at Brands Hatch is scheduled to be the third round in 2024. The SpeedFest, the only round that has officially confirmed its spot in the calendar prior to today’s announcement, is set to be held on 8-9 June.
After a highly successful tenth anniversary event in 2023, it is certain that EuroNASCAR and MotorSport Vision will be giving their all to ensure that the eleventh edition of the SpeedFest will be the best one yet.

Brands Hatch will be followed by NASCAR Oval GP at Raceway Venray on 29-30 June, which finally returns to the schedule after a four-year absence. The 0.5-mile short track in the Netherlands last hosted an EuroNASCAR round in 2019, featuring a 100-lap thriller that was won by home crowd hero Loris Hezemans.
Venray had previously signed a deal to host the series until 2022, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the round to be dropped from the schedule. The return of the oval venue, which remains active with its V8 Late Model Series, will provide the series with the spectacle of short track racing that has been missed by the fans.

A two-month long summer break will follow before EuroNASCAR returns to Autodrom Most for the fifth edition of NASCAR GP Czech Republic. The Czech round will be held on 31 August-1 September and is the final round of the regular season.
It is currently unknown whether the round will once again co-headline the event alongside FIA’s European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC). What is known is that drivers will have to drop their worst results after the round at Most is over. Just like the past three seasons, a “best 8 of 10” system will be used for the regular season.

NASCAR GP Germany at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben will make up the sixth round of the 2024 season. After a successful debut to the schedule this year, EuroNASCAR’s newest venue is ready to welcome the field once again on 21-22 September.
With Oschersleben hosting the double points paying EuroNASCAR Semi-Finals, it will also mark the German round’s return to the Playoffs. Hockenheimring, the previous venue for NASCAR GP Germany, hosted the first Playoff round of the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

The final chapter of the 2024 season will be written at Circuit Zolder. The historic Belgian venue is set to host the EuroNASCAR Finals for the seventh time in its history on 12-13 October.
Every single race of the new season is going to be broadcasted live on NASCAR Whelen Euro Series’ official YouTube channel. EuroNASCAR’s biggest season meant that there’s going to be more action that will be enjoyed by race fans around the world.
