EuroNASCAR’s Drivers Recruitment Program will be back on 16-17 November for the 2024 edition of the annual “scholarship” talent search.

NASCAR Whelen Euro Series’ annual Driver Recruitment Program (DRP) will be back for its seventh edition after it was announced that the 2024 edition will be held on 16-17 November at Circuits de Vendée in Fontenay-le-Comte.

The track previously known as Circuit de Fontenay-le-Comte has seen the arrival of many prospective EuroNASCAR talents in the past and the 2024 edition is shaping up to be no different.

“The NASCAR Drivers Recruitment Program will return ahead of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season with a test day on November 16 and 17th at the Circuits de Vendée in Fontenay Le Comte, France,” announced the series yesterday.

“The program represents the best opportunity for all sorts of drivers to test the ultimate ‘Pure Racing’ car and potentially earn a scholarship to join the official NASCAR European championship, the best stepping stone towards a NASCAR career in the US.”

Just like with previous editions of the DRP, the goal of the program is to find the next great talent that will be offered with a financial “scholarship” to help them land a seat in the 2024 season. Three different packages will be offered for participating drivers:

  • Discovery package: The basic package that includes 2 on-track test sessions. Available for €950.
  • Advanced package: The intermediate package, which includes 6 on-track test sessions. Available for €2,500.
  • Pro package: The full package in which a driver gets 1 dedicated car for a full day of testing. Available for €5,900.

It will be open to every driver, which EuroNASCAR categorizes to five different categories:

  • Top drivers aiming at becoming NASCAR European Champion
  • Young talents willing to build themselves a NASCAR career towards the USA
  • Karting drivers willing to launch their car racing career and get the best cost-efficient development program
  • Female drivers eager to battle for the European Lady Trophy
  • Gentlemen Drivers wanting to compete at high level and have great fun at affordable cost
