As announced by 3F Racing, Ryan Vargas will be competing in EuroNASCAR’s season finale at Circuit Zolder with the No. 30 Critical Path Security Chevrolet.
NASCAR Xfinity and Truck Series star Ryan Vargas will be giving NASCAR Whelen Euro Series another go after 3F Racing announced that they will be back for the EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder.
This announcement follows upon Vargas’ successful European debut at NASCAR GP Germany. Despite his relative lack of road course racing experience, the American performed strongly against his more established competitors and scored two-top 10 finishes in Oschersleben.
“My time over in Germany was an absolute blast!” said Vargas in the official announcement. “The cars are nimble and can really be tossed around the corners.”
“With less power from what I’m used to in the Truck and Xfinity Series you’re able to drive a lot more aggressively and have freedom to find new ways around the cars in front of you.”
“The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series platform is one that I’ve really come to love; everyone in the series is super supportive and raced me with a lot of aggression yet a lot of respect. To go across the pond and snag two top-10 results for 3F Racing and Critical Path Security was super special.”
Vargas will once again drive the No. 30 Critical Path Security Chevrolet Camaro in Zolder with Team Bleekemolen prodiving 3F with technical support to field the car.
The 23-year old driver, who celebrated his birthday during Saturday’s running of NASCAR GP Germany and had recently finished inside the top-20 in the Truck race at Talladega, is relishing the opportunity to race overseas for a second time in 2023.
“I’ve always harbored a dream to race in the NASCAR Euro Series,” adds Vargas in Critical Path Security’s official release. “Venturing overseas to race, be it in GT racing or NASCAR Euro, has always captivated my imagination.”
