NASCAR Euro Series have revealed the Entry List for the 2025 American Festival of Rome, featuring 48 drivers from 23 teams across all three divisions.
NASCAR Euro Series returns to action this weekend for the second round of the 2025 season. With an unchanged calendar from last year, Autodromo Vallelunga will once again become the home for EuroNASCAR’s annual visit to Italy.
The passionate Italian race fans have welcomed EuroNASCAR with open arms, as shown by the high attendances at Vallelunga in recent years.
It’s also the home track for the majority of teams and drivers in the championship. The support of their home crowd provides ample motivation for the Italian contingent to go all-out and perform at their highest level.
EuroNASCAR’s sixth visit to the 4.085 kilometer Vallelunga circuit sees 23 teams entering the event, one down from the Entry List in Valencia. Overall, there will be 48 drivers contesting the battle across all three divisions.
After a stunning season opener that sees both familiar and new faces on top and no clear favorites just yet, Vallelunga is shaping up to be even more unpredictable than before.
Team Changes
Recent announcements on the build-up to the 2025 NASCAR GP Italy showed its impact in the team’s side of things. One major absence will come in the form of Marko Stipp Motorsport, who elected to skip an event for the first time in the team’s history.
The German team had lost three out of their four EuroNASCAR PRO and OPEN drivers. With little time to find replacements, team boss Marko Stipp chose to sit out this round so that his team can regroup for the next rounds.
MSM’s decision to skip the 2025 NASCAR GP Italy was a tough one to do, but it was arguably a necessary one.

Two of the departing drivers were the Georgian duo of Davit Kajaia and Sandro Tavartkiladze. They will now be racing for Team Georgia, formed by their sponsors Georgian Automobile Sport Federation.
Team Georgia has secured the use of an ex-Thomas Dombrowski chassis for Vallelunga. Entering as the No. 9 GASF Camaro, Team Georgia is set to make history as the first Georgian teams in the sport.
Italian team Club Motorsport reactivated their second entry for their home race. This entry now carries No. 22 on the side of their Camaro, changing from the No. 43 that they used in 2024.
Another Italian team in CAAL Racing is set to utilize the No. 89 Camaro in EuroNASCAR PRO for the first time. This entry, entered under partnership with Sharks Team Italia, was only entered in Rookie Challenge at Valencia.
Additionally, Team Japan Needs24 will once again miss the Italian round. This meant that Kenko Miura is once again set to compete part-time with his self-owned team in 2025.
EuroNASCAR PRO
EuroNASCAR PRO is expected to feature 23 drivers for NASCAR GP Italy. This number is unchanged from the previous round, but there are notable changes throughout the grid.
Max Marzorati had to find a new ride as a result of MSM’s withdrawal. Fortunately for the Brit, he has received a chance to race with one of EuroNASCAR’s powerhouse teams: CAAL Racing, via the No. 89 team.
The Italian tifosi will have an extra driver to cheer after Giovanni Faraonio is announced as the EuroNASCAR PRO driver in Club’s No. 22 Camaro. This will mark Faraonio’s debut in the top class, having raced part-time in EuroNASCAR 2 in 2024.
The Entry List also revealed a change in M Racing. M Racing’s second entry was officially revealed as the No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro, according to the Entry List published on 13 May 2025.
The No. 68 Camaro is listed to feature Yvan Muller, which is in contrast to the announcement made earlier in the build-up to the Italian round. Thomas Toffel is listed in Muller’s place at the No. 34 Camaro, potentially setting up the Swiss’ return to the top division.

EuroNASCAR OPEN
A cast of 20 drivers is set to compete in EuroNASCAR OPEN. Just like with EuroNASCAR PRO, this number is the same as it was in the season opener at Valencia.
Unlike PRO though, there were less changes in the driver roster heading to the Vallelunga round. One notable change came from Sven van Laere, who will be racing for SpeedHouse as the full-time substitute for Matthias Hauer.
Another change also occurs at Club Motorsport, where they are set to enter Valerio Marzi in the No. 22 Camaro. This marked Marzi’s third season as a part-time competitor in the sport, although this will be his first year at a team that isn’t Vict Motorsport.
EuroNASCAR Rookie Challenge
Thirteen teams and fourteen drivers are listed as entrants in the regularity-based Rookie Challenge division. MSM’s withdrawal created a huge ripple effect to the Rookie Challenge roster, as only one of MSM’s three drivers was able to find a new seat for this round.
That person is the wakeskater Mike Wise, who managed to get himself a ride at Club Motorsport. Both Yann Schar and Daniel Boys are less fortunate and will have to wait until Most before they get another shot at victory.
Team Georgia’s duo of Kajaia and Tavartkiladze are also entered as points scoring entrants in the Entry List.
Both drivers are eligible to compete for points due to their status as series rookies, as required by the new Rookie Challenge regulations. However, their participation will be focused more towards getting their No. 9 Camaro ready for the PRO and OPEN races.
