Marko Stipp Motorsport announced Max Marzorati and Sven van Laere as the drivers of the No. 47 Camaro, the latter making an unexpected return after being medically cleared to compete.

Marko Stipp Motorsport continues to shape up their roster for the 2025 EuroNASCAR season. After announcing Davit Kajaia and Sandro Tavartkiladze, MSM announced that they’ve signed Max Marzorati and Sven van Laere for the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro squad.

Both Marzorati and Sven will be replacing Victor Neumann in the No. 47 team. Neumann, who became the final Rookie Trophy champion in EuroNASCAR OPEN, is seemingly destined to not continue his participation in the sport.

Marzorati is due for his first full-time EuroNASCAR PRO campaign with MSM. The Brit ran part-time with Double V Racing in 2024.

Marzorati raced in Vallelunga and Brands Hatch after taking part in that year’s Recruitment Tests. He made big grounds from session-to-session, culminating in the 24-year old finishing 11th in just his third race.

With a full-time budget secured, Marzorati will be able to continue his good development progress across all seven rounds of the season.

“I’m so excited to be racing with Marko Stipp Motorsport!” said Marzorati in the official announcement.

“Making my debut in the NASCAR Euro Series last year was fantastic. There are no other events like this. The cars are incredible and so raw, and the racing is close and competitive.”

“I’m looking forward to working with Marko Stipp and getting stuck in! I want to thank my sponsors Adrian Flux and Black Fox Group for their continued support this year.”

Sven, on the other hand, makes an unexpected return to the series in EuroNASCAR OPEN. His return meant that he’ll be able to closely follow the Rookie Challenge campaign of his son Maxim.

Sven’s return is a development that the paddock had not expected to hear. Medical issues had caused Sven to miss several races in 2024. These issues eventually led to the Belgian to announce his retirement just after the 2024 NASCAR GP Czech Republic.

He had expected that retirement to be the end of his racing journey, accepting that he’ll be acting as the mentor of his son Maxim throughout 2025.

However, recent developments have resulted in a greatly positive upswing for Sven. Doctors have medically cleared Sven to race once again, giving Sven an unexpected second chance that he immediately seized.

Despite this, Sven wisely decided to not go too far just yet. The 51-year old will use Valencia as a test to see how much his body can be pushed before deciding on whether he’ll go full-time or not.

“Being back on the grid of this amazing championship is a big surprise, not in the least for myself!” said Sven in the official announcement.

“After last year’s medical issues, we all thought that a return to the race track was too big of a risk to take. However, we’ll be ready in Valencia to put myself to the test and see if it will work out.”

“It took him some serious convincing, but I really want to thank Jerome Galpin for helping me to return. I’m looking forward to spending the race weekends together with my son Maxim, who’s participating in the Rookie Challenge this season.”

“I also want to thank Marko Stipp Motorsport for making this late deal possible. I’m very excited to join the Gasoline Gladiators!”
