Lux Motorsport signs Mario Ercoli and adds Jack Davidson’s sister Nicole Davidson to their roster, creating EuroNASCAR’s first brother-sister pairing in years.

Lux Motorsport finalizes their driver roster for the upcoming 2025 EuroNASCAR season. Mario Ercoli and Nicole Davidson will join Jack Davidson in the Scottish team’s bright pink No. 21 GT Omega Camaro.

Mario will race for Lux in EuroNASCAR OPEN, replacing the EuroNASCAR PRO bound Jack. Nicole, who is Jack’s sister, is prepared for her first car racing campaign in Rookie Challenge.

Nicole and Jack will be EuroNASCAR’s first brother-sister pairing since the Monforte’s: Simone and Erika. Simone and Erika Monforte previously raced in EuroNASCAR from 2014 to 2016.

Mario’s departure to Lux meant that he will follow the footsteps of his older brother Gianmarco in finding new pastures. Gianmarco is already announced as the driver of Alumitec Racing in 2025.

Mario showed promising speed in his maiden EuroNASCAR OPEN campaign in 2024. Despite only finishing 16th in the standings, five top-10 finishes showed that Mario had potential to go further in his sophomore season.

“I’m very excited to be part of Lux Motorsport this season,” said Mario to nascar.eu “It’s a new challenge for me, and obviously it’s an opportunity to grow as a driver and as a person.”

“I want to thank Lux Motorsport and the NASCAR Euro Series organization for the opportunity. I can’t wait for Valencia!”

Nicole’s decision to join EuroNASCAR meant that the championship will have a brother-sister for the first time in history.

Much like Jack, Nicole is heavily thrilled by sports. She is a renowned equestrian performer in Scotland, so she’ll have some experience with handling horses.

Still, one horse is considerably less than the 400 horses that EuroNASCAR offers with their 5.7 liter V8 engines.

Despite this, she’s ready to show what she can do in EuroNASCAR. “From one horsepower to another” will be Nicole’s motto for her upcoming EuroNASCAR journey.

“I ‘m very excited to join the NASCAR Euro Series this year!” said Nicole to nascar.eu. “I go to most of the races with my brother, so it will be good to be part of the action and not just a spectator.”

“The car is amazing! I’ve done laps in it at Knockhill and I’ve been on the sim trying to learn the Ricardo Tormo circuit, so we’ll see what I remember.”

“It is such a privilege to be part of Lux Motorsport. Lux is our family team alongside my brother and I will be going from one horsepower to another. From the horses, I train to jump to the roaring horsepower of NASCAR.”

“Hopefully I can get a few podiums throughout the year.  Family is so important, my brother and I support each other. My mom and dad have been taking us to Daytona since I can remember, and our family team brings the spirit of America to Europe.”
