Swiss watchmaker Strom becomes EuroNASCAR’s timing partner from 2025 to 2027 and provides the series with their first Pole Position Award sponsor.
NASCAR Euro Series welcomes the arrival of a timing partner starting from the 2025 season. Swiss luxury watchmaker Strom will become EuroNASCAR’s official timing and Qualifying partner for the next three seasons.
The partnership agreement sees Strom step in as the sponsor for EuroNASCAR’s Pole Position Award. It meant that EuroNASCAR will have a sponsor being featured in their Pole Position Award plaques for the first time.
Strom will also sponsor of EuroNASCAR’s countdown clock. The Strom countdown clock will be featured prior to the green flag for all qualifying and race broadcasts.
“The NASCAR Euro Series is proud to announce Strom, the iconic Swiss watchmaking brand, as an official partner for the 2025, 2026 and 2027 seasons,” announced EuroNASCAR on 4 April 2025.
“With a deep-rooted legacy in precision and artistic expression, Strom will bring a unique blend of tradition and innovation to Europe’s premier NASCAR championship by sponsoring the Pole Award and key moments of the series broadcast.”
“As part of the agreement, Strom will become the title sponsor of the NASCAR Euro Series Pole Award. The Strom Pole Award will recognize the series’ top qualifiers – those who embody the same performance and focus that define Strom’s timepieces.”
“In addition, Strom will be the official partner of the NASCAR Euro Series Qualifying broadcast, as well as the countdown to the start segment that leads fans into every race.”
“These live moments — where anticipation, intensity, and timing converge — reflect the essence of Strom’s approach to horology.”

Strom is founded by Swiss watch magnate Daniel Strom in 2001. Daniel came from a family of watchmakers, with father Armin being described as “the renowned master of skeletonized timepieces” by EuroNASCAR.
Originally working for his father, Daniel moved to OMEGA in 1989. He worked with people such as Pierce Brosnan and Michael Schumacher to develop their own specialized watches thanks to his understanding in both watchmaking and management.
His time at OMEGA ended in 2001, when he decided to form his own Strom brand. Strom’s rapid rise enabled him to form his own public limited company, the Strom Prestige Swiss Timepieces AG, in 2004 to further expand his business.

The partnership with EuroNASCAR is made possible thanks to Strom’s German distributor Eduard Neitzke. Seeing EuroNASCAR’s rising popularity, Neitzke introduced Daniel to the EuroNASCAR project in recent times.
Daniel immediately took a liking to the idea thanks to his passion with muscle cars and motorsport. He soon worked together with EuroNASCAR’s CEO and founder Jerome Galpin to establish the partnership as he believes that the benefits will be mutual for both parties.
“We are a proud family run company, now entering its third generation,” said Daniel to nascar.eu. “As we continue to grow the Strom brand internationally, we were searching for the right sponsorship opportunity. Something that aligned with our values and passion.”
“When this fantastic project was introduced to us by our German distributor Eduard Neitzke, it immediately felt like a perfect fit.”
“I’ve always been fascinated by American cars and motorsports, so much so that I own a Dodge Viper myself. Partnering with the NASCAR Euro Series is not only a strategic move for our brand, but also an exciting chance to bring a unique energy to the fan and competitor experience across Europe.”
