EuroNASCAR announced that they will host a second Recruitment Test in Italy on 26 March 2025 at Circuito Tazio Nuvolari.
Italy’s reception to the EuroNASCAR Drivers Recruitment Tests (DRT) has been very positive. In fact, it was so positive that EuroNASCAR recently announced that they will be hosting a second Recruitment Test in Italy.
The venue that EuroNASCAR chooses this time is the Circuito Tazio Nuvolari. Circuito Tazio Nuvolari is located 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) southwest of Milan and measures 5.26 kilometers in length.
Compared to the Cremona DRT test, the visit to Circuito Tazio Nuvolari will be a single-day affair. The test is set to take place on 26 March 2025, exactly two weeks before the season opener at Valencia.
“The Drivers Recruitment Tests continue with one of the last opportunities to get behind the wheel of a EuroNASCAR car before the NASCAR Euro Series 2025 season kicks off!” announced EuroNASCAR on 24 February 2025.
“On March 26, 2025, Team FJ, the founder, owner and promoter of EuroNASCAR, and Sharks Team will host a recruitment test at the Circuito Tazio Nuvolari in Cervesina, Italy, located near Milan.”
“After a successful outing in Cremona, this next stage offers drivers a final chance to experience the thrill of EuroNASCAR in Italy and take a crucial step toward securing a spot on the 2025 grid.”
“The 5.2-kilometer track features a combination of fast corners, long straights, and technical sections, making it the ideal setting to showcase racecraft and adaptability in a high-performance V8 machine.”
The Cremona DRT test was well attended with 12 drivers participating in the sessions. These include Legends Car Italia stars Michele Locatelli and Alessandro Bolini, who decide to have a taste at the more powerful EuroNASCAR stock cars at Cremona.
Georgian drivers Davit Kajaia and Sandro Tavartkiladze also attended the event after they were invited by their country’s motorsport federation. Together, they became the first Georgian drivers to ever test an EuroNASCAR stock car.
The report from the previous test can be read in this link here. Kajaia and Tavartkiladze’s participation are covered in this special Feature article.
