Team RC strengthens their inaugural NASCAR Brasil Series roster with the addition of Jorge Martelli, Witold Ramasauskas and Galid Osman for 2025.
Team RC adds more ammunition for their first season in the NASCAR Brasil Series in 2025 with the signing of three highly talented drivers: Jorge Martelli, Galid Osman and Witold Ramasauskas.
Martelli was officially announced as part of Team RC on 24 January 2025. Martelli is set to race his traditional number of 87, with Ferticel and Ellix once again set to sponsor the series veteran.
The Tapurah native made his series debut in 2016 as the partner of Kau Machado. Martelli and Machado then won the GP class title in 2017 before he entered a four-year hiatus.
When Martelli made his return in 2022, he tried his luck in the top class as the running mate of Rodrigo Sperafico. A fourth place finish in the overall standings convinced Martelli to try his own luck starting from 2023, the year that NASCAR began sanctioning NASCAR Brasil.
Unfortunately, his first solo season did not go to plan. Countless retirements resulted in Martelli only finishing sixth in the PRO AM standings, but his fortunes turned around in 2024.
Martelli started his year with a shock victory in Goiânia, his first overall win in the series. Four more class wins allowed him to win the Brazilian Championship title in the Challenge division.
Even though he lost the overall title to Victor Andrade, his status as one of Challenge’s top drivers and an experienced driver is an asset that Team RC will bank for in 2025.
“It’s really cool to have Jorge,” said Team RC’s manager Marcel Campos. “He’s a great addition to our team, as he has a lot of experience in the category.”
“He’s been racing for a few years and is the current [Brazilian] Challenge champion. Therefore, our expectation is to be able to repeat this feat and perhaps give him the chance to move up a category.”

Galid Osman’s entry was announced on 7 February 2025. The 38-year old is set for his first full season campaign with the No. 99 Shell Camaro, but he does come with prior experience.
Osman made a one-off appearance in the 2020 Special Edition Championship. He performed well there, securing pole position on debut and finishing inside the top-5 in all three races.
Osman had previously raced for Team RC’s satellite team RCM Motorsport in Stock Car Pro Series from 2013 to 2016. He admits that it’s an honor to reestablish his partnership with the Curitiba-based team in 2025.
“The expectation is to compete for victories and the title in the category,” said Osman. “It will be an honor to compete for Team RC, one of the most legendary in Brazilian motorsports. It will be the reestablishment of a partnership we had during the Stock Car era.”
A week later during the Daytona Speedweeks, Team RC announced Ramasauskas’ addition to their roster. Ramasauskas is therefore set for his second full season campaign in NASCAR Brasil.
Ballena and Taxation Mind will continue to sponsor Ramasauskas in 2025. However, Ramasauskas will not use the No. 13 as he is set to change his number to No. 11 instead.
Ramasauskas enjoyed a decent maiden campaign last year, finishing on the podium twice. The 37-year old was quite proficient on the ovals, as his podium finishes came at the oval circuits of Goiania and Cristais.
He hopes to be able to build upon his 2024 campaign, where he finished eighth in the overall standings.
“The expectation is wonderful and I get to compete with one of the most successful teams in our country,” said Ramasauskas. “For me, it is an honor!”
“It will be a very special year as we’re set to have many changes. I hope we will be fighting for three titles at the end of the season: Overall, Special Edition and Brazilian.”
