eNASCAR star Garrett Lowe completed his first official NASCAR test via EuroNASCAR’s 2025 Recruitment Test.

The recent EuroNASCAR Recruitment Test at Circuits de Vendee in France welcomed a special guest from the United States. eNASCAR Coca Cola iRacing Series star Garrett Lowe wraps up his 2024 racing season with participation in the Recruitment Test.

The test was organized with the help of BS+ Competition, Lowe’s eNASCAR team. BS+ Competition is owned by media company bürosüd plus with Florian Haasper acting as the team’s manager.

Lowe’s participation served as the next step in BS+ Competition’s commitment to bridge the division between sim racing and real world motorsport.

Driving real world race cars is not a new thing for Lowe. Unlike most sim racers, the driver from Gastonia, North Carolina is already a race winner in real life. He achieved it with Stillwell Racing in 2023 on both late models and legend cars.

However, the EuroNASCAR test at Fontenay is Lowe’s first with an officially sanctioned NASCAR stock car. Lowe came prepared for the test, having finished third in the Racing Prodigy event at NOLA a month prior.

BS+ Competition also came prepared, asking EuroNASCAR to wrap their test car in a special No. 89 bürosüd plus Camaro livery

This request was fulfilled and subsequently revealed on 19 December 2024, showcasing a striking orange-and-white zebra scheme that stood out on the track.

Lowe’s results in the Recruitment Test underlines the potential that the 23-year old racer had. He showed quick adaptation and had good pace in both wet and dry conditions.

“It was a fantastic experience,” said Lowe to EuroNASCAR.com. “I was able to get used to the car and the track. I’ve been able to learn a lot.”

“I’ve seen wet conditions and we were a little careful, but once we were on dry tires it was all about pushing the car to the limit. We found the pace pretty early and were able to work through some set-up changes.”

“I’m very fortunate to have this opportunity and can’t thank the NASCAR Euro Series and BS+ Competition enough. Being a part of eNASCAR on iRacing has definitely helped me and it’s the most valuable experience on the list. This is a NASCAR Stock Car and not a Late Model and it was two great days.”

Haasper is proud of what Lowe had achieved in the EuroNASCAR stock car. The German also thanked EuroNASCAR’s boss Jerome Galpin for providing BS+ Competition with the means to make the test into a reality.

“Those two days were just a great experience,” said Haasper to euronascar.com. “Having one of our BS+ Competition eNASCAR and Racing Prodigy drivers out here on the track was just a lot of fun.”

“He [Lowe] was comfortable in the car and made big steps in two days. Thanks to the NASCAR Euro Series for this opportunity. Also thanks to EuroNASCAR CEO and President Jerome Galpin for the perfect hospitality.”

“He [Galpin] put a lot of effort into the test days and shared his knowledge with us. He supported Garrett a lot to make these big steps and the whole TEAM FJ crew really impressed me. It was a unique experience and a lot of fun.”
