Lucas Lasserre added more “special memories” for his team SpeedHouse Racing at Brands Hatch with a double podium finish in last week’s American SpeedFest 11.

SpeedHouse Racing’s lead drivers Lucas Lasserre and Ulysse Delsaux continue to establish their status as one of the primary contenders for the EuroNASCAR championship title with strong finishes in the American SpeedFest 11, Powered by Lucas Oil.

The 46-year old was particularly proud of being able to add SpeedHouse’s “special memories” at Brands Hatch, referring to the 2022 edition where they took their first victory with Alexander Graff.

“Finishing second and third at Brands Hatch has been an incredible experience,” said Lasserre in SpeedHouse’s post-race release. “This circuit holds special memories for Speedhouse, and it feels fantastic to add to that legacy with these podium finishes.”

“The team has worked tirelessly to get us here, and their dedication and support have been instrumental in our success.”

His protege Ulysse Delsaux also left the American SpeedFest with plenty of smiles on his face. While a top-5 finish still eluded the 26-year old driver, he was happy that he was able to keep up with the leaders.

“I’m happy with this weekend,” said Delsaux, who took home a double seventh place finish. “In qualifying, I made it to the Superpole for the second time this year after Vallelunga.”

“During the first race, I was able to keep up with the leaders. In the second race, despite the contacts I had and the Safety Car, I managed to finish the race maintaining a good pace on a track where overtaking is difficult.”

“These are good points for the championship. Thank you to all my partners and everyone who supports me.”

With these finishes, Lasserre and Delsaux were able to move themselves up the standings. Lasserre returned to the top-5 with 180 points, while Delsaux gained one place and is now seventh in the championship with 167 points.

Lasserre also thanked the passionate UK motoring fans, feeling that their support made their achievements more meaningful.

“Brands Hatch is a place where we’ve always felt a strong connection with fans, and achieving these results here is particularly meaningful.”

“Thank you to everyone who has supported us and I’m looking forward to continuing this momentum in the upcoming races,” adds last-year’s runner-up.
