The 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will feature an all-star field of 28 full-time entries from 17 teams, as revealed in the provisional Teams Entry List.

NASCAR Whelen Euro Series has officially announced the provisional Teams Entry List for the 2024 season, revealing a total of twenty-eight (28) entries from seventeen (17) teams that are scheduled to compete full-time this year.

The number of full-time entrants are down by three (3) from the provisional Teams Entry List in 2023, but the number of teams increased by one (1). The list also excludes part-time entries, of which one – PK Carsport’s unnumbered second team – has already been announced.

Headlining the Teams Entry List are the two teams that won the title in 2023: CAAL Racing, the team of reigning EuroNASCAR PRO champion Gianmarco Ercoli, and RDV Competition, the reigning Teams Champion.

CAAL will be scaling down their efforts for 2024 with two full-time entries, down from three in 2023.

Ercoli will once again drive the flagship No. 54 Chevrolet Camaro alongside Sven van Laere, while Max Lanza and Roberto Benedetti retain their position as the driver of the No. 88 Camaro.

The downscaling from a three-car entry to a two-car effort is echoed by their closest ENPRO rival from 2023, SpeedHouse Racing. Lucas Lasserre’s team will field the No. 14 and No. 33 Ford Mustang’s for the new season.

Ulysse Delsaux remains as the ENPRO driver of the No. 14 car while Florian Richard steps up to EN2 with the No. 33 car, which effectively carries the lineage of the No. 64 team from 2023.

RDV Competition is represented by their flagship No. 3 Ford Mustang, driven by reigning EN2 champion Paul Jouffreau and rising star Patrick Schober.

The French team aims to defend their Teams title, which will feature a new format for the 2024 season. Announcement for this new system is expected to be done in the days leading up to the season opening round at Valencia.

PK Carsport also retains their flagship No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro as their main full-time entry. Driven by Vittorio Ghirelli in ENPRO, he will be accompanied by owner-driver Anthony Kumpen in the aforementioned second entry later in the season.

Academy Motorsport will field the No. 1 and No. 5 Ford Mustang’s, thus retaining the two-car structure that they have in 2023.

Federico Monti will be joined by a mystery driver in the No. 1 Ford while Vladimiros Tziortzis and Claudio Remigio Cappelli form a strong No. 5 team. Both teams will be unmissable with their striking green and yellow liveries.

Hendriks Motorsport will not only retain the same entries from 2023, they also retained all of their drivers.

Martin Doubek will race in both classes with the No. 7 Ford Mustang while Liam Hezemans and Gil Linster create a formidable line-up in the No. 50 Toyota Camry.

On the other hand, fellow Dutch team Race Planet Team Bleekemolen are scheduled to bring back the four-car structure that they have in 2022.

The No. 11 team will join the No. 66, No. 69 and No. 72 teams, all fielded in-house by the Bleekemolen family squad.

A slight change will be done by The Club Motorsport. Fabrizio Armetta’s team keeps the No. 55 team intact, but the No. 65 team will carry a new number: No. 43, synonymous in the United States with seven-time Cup Series champion Richard Petty.

Swap the position of the numbers in 43 and you got No. 34, the sole entrant from Race Art Technology. The Swiss team returns to a one-car structure with Thomas Toffel and Edouard Fatio onboard the SIMATOK Chevrolet Camaro.

Upstart team Bremotion, which took two convincing wins with Tobias Dauenhauer in 2023, has already announced their plan to enter a second team starting from Round 2 at Vallelunga.

The provisional Entry List gave fans the first glimpse of the German team’s new entrant with the reveal of its car number. The new entry will be racing as the No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro, joining the No. 99 Camaro that Dauenhauer and Dominique Schaak will race this year.

Fellow German team Marko Stipp Motorsport will also strengthen their effort by fielding three Chevrolet Camaro’s, all of which will be present starting from Valencia.

All three of them will have double duty drivers: Thomas Krasonis in the No. 46 Costamare Inc. Camaro, Victor Neumann in the No. 47 AIX Financial Group Camaro and Nick Strickler in the No. 48 Sequent Camaro.

Bremotion and MSM will be joined by a third German team: 3F Racing. They will field the No. 30 Critical Path Security Chevrolet Camaro for Ryan Vargas and are expected to retain the support from Team Bleekemolen.

International flavor will be added with the expected full-time return of Team Japan Needs24 and the addition of Scotland’s Lux Motorsport.

The RDV-supported Team Japan retains the No. 74 Toyota Camry and is all-but-confirmed to retain their owner-driver Kenko Miura.

Lux, a former top entrant in Mini Challenge UK, will hit the track with Jack Davidson behind the wheel of the pink cladded No. 21 GT Omega Chevrolet Camaro.

Three more single-car teams will come from Italy, a country that has welcomed EuroNASCAR with open arms in the last decade. The efforts will be led by Double V Racing and the No. 27 Ford Mustang that won at Oschersleben last year.

Vict Motorsport retains the unmistakable red No. 8 Italicus Chevrolet Camaro, all-but-confirming Dario Caso’s return to his self-owned team.

The third team came in the form of Granducato Speed with the orange No. 90 Chevrolet Camaro. The Italian team, born from the ashes of Bulgarian Team, had an interesting pre-season that we covered a few months back as a Feature article.
