Bremotion retains Tobias Dauenhauer as their star driver in EuroNASCAR PRO and revealed plans to expand with a second Chevrolet Camaro starting from Round 2 in Vallelunga.

Bremotion made two major announcements on 28 March 2024, with the German team announcing Tobias Dauenhauer’s contract extension and plans to expand with a second part-time entry starting from the second round at Vallelunga.

Bremotion made a splash on the team’s debut season in 2023. Dauenhauer led the team to two wins, including a complete domination of the field at Zolder that saw him break the record for the largest margin of victory in EuroNASCAR PRO history.

Given the successes from last year, it is not a surprise to see Dauenhauer agree on a contract extension with the team that showed that he had what it takes to compete against the best in European stock car racing.

“It’s all about competition and pure racing in EuroNASCAR and that’s why I’m back,” said Dauenhauer, who will drive the No. 99 IZECC Camaro alongside Dominique Schaak. “I just want to win races and have fun. That’s my goal for the season.”

“I will focus on a race-by-race plan and then we will see where we end up in the championship standings. Being the first German to win in EuroNASCAR PRO was the best moment in my career so far, especially at my home race at Oschersleben.”

Patrick Brenndörfer – Bremotion’s owner and team manager – understands that his team will be considered as one of the ones to watch given that they have no rookie excuses to fall back, but he is confident that the team will be able to continue their path to success in 2024.

He also revealed that the team has acquired a second Chevrolet Camaro that will be entered starting from NASCAR GP Italy – a process that mirrors how Bremotion debuted in the series last year.

No details on either the car number or drivers are given, but Brenndörfer promises more news for the second entry after Easter.

“After our strong EuroNASCAR debut last season, in which we won two EuroNASCAR PRO races, it was a no-brainer to be back on the grid,” said Brenndörfer on expectations for the 2024 season.

“Last year we were in a safe place as rookies, but now the competition knows that we are serious contenders. It will not be an easy season, but we are hungry and motivated.”

“With Tobias and Dominique, we have two strong drivers on board for the #99. And because the series is developing well, we have decided to expand our involvement with a second NASCAR. We will announce the drivers after Easter.”
