Thomas Krasonis and Victor Neumann will join Raceway Venray regulars Bachor Racingteam in V8 Oval Series’ opening round at Easter Monday to train their oval racing skills.

Marko Stipp Motorsport teammates Thomas Krasonis and Victor Neumann will make a special appearance in Raceway Venray’s V8 Oval Series to help them prepare for the upcoming NASCAR Oval GP – scheduled to be held in Venray on 29-30 June.

Krasonis and Neumann will race for V8 Oval Series regulars Bachor Racingteam. The German team announced that the two EuroNASCAR competitors will be racing their machines in the season opening round at Easter Monday.

“The Bachor Racing Team will have its hands full at the V8 Oval Series opener at Raceway Vernay on Easter Monday, April 1, 2024,” announced Bachor on 26 March. “In addition to full-time starters Philipp Bachor and Jacky Grün, two drivers from the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will drive for the racing team.”

“Greek driver Thomas Krasonis and Frenchman Victor Neumann will prepare for the EuroNASCAR race on June 29-30, 2024 on the 0.5-mile oval in the Netherlands.”

“Krasonis will take over the #22 Chevrolet Camaro, Neumann the #12 Chevrolet Impala. Both NWES drivers will contest all three races on Easter Monday and try to master the track with banked turns up to 25 degrees.”

This outing will be Krasonis’ first oval racing outing in Europe. The Greek driver had already gained short track racing experience in the United States through his participation in New Smyrna Speedway’s World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing, which he took part in for the past two years.

Neumann, on the other hand, will experience oval racing for the first time on Easter Monday.

Krasonis and Neumann are not the only EuroNASCAR competitors – both current and former – that will race at Venray for V8 Oval Series’ opener. Gil Linster will also be racing there with Hendriks Motorsport, as revealed by André Wiegold through Leadlap.
