Liam Hezemans continues his EuroNASCAR journey with Hendriks Motorsport after he announced his stay in the No. 50 Toyota Camry team for 2024.

Liam Hezemans will be staying with Hendriks Motorsport for his second full-season campaign in the top EuroNASCAR PRO class after he announced his decision to stay with the Dutch team on 9 February 2024.

Liam’s announcement meant that Hendriks has finalized their driver roster for 2024. The team had previously revealed that Martin Doubek and Gil Linster will also be staying in their respective rides.

Liam stepped up to EuroNASCAR PRO in 2023 after he clinched the EuroNASCAR 2 title on his debut season in 2022. The 20-year old won the season opening race at Valencia and showed great single lap pace by scoring four fastest laps, but unfortunately luck wasn’t on his side.

Problems such as mechanical gremlins in Brands Hatch and Vallelunga and a self-inflicted collision at Most effectively eliminated Liam from the overall title contention, but a late string of good performances was enough to secure the Junior Trophy by six points.

In addition, Liam also finished in the top-5 in the driver’s championship. It meant that Liam will now be classified as a Grade A driver, making him ineligible to do double duty as per the EuroNASCAR rulebook on driver grades.

Maintaining the stronger peaks from 2023 will be Liam’s goal for 2024 as he wants to collect more silverwares and emulate the feat of his older brother Loris, who became the EuroNASCAR champion in 2019 and 2021.

“I love the atmosphere of the championship with all our great fans at the tracks,” said Liam to euronascar.com. “The series is growing every year and the level of competition is unmatched in Europe.”

“Obviously, I want to win the EuroNASCAR PRO title and become the second Hezemans to win the overall championship. My biggest accomplishment to date is my EuroNASCAR 2 title in my very first year of auto racing, but I’m hungry to collect more trophies.”
