MotorSport Vision has announced that American SpeedFest 11, EuroNASCAR’s “crown jewel” round at Brands Hatch, will be hosted on 8-9 June 2024.
American SpeedFest has revealed the date for the 2024 running of the event. The highly popular round at Brands Hatch will once again host the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series machines when the series returns to the UK on 8-9 June 2024.
The news follows upon the news that was announced on 16 June 2023 where MotorSport Vision and EuroNASCAR agreed to a contract extension that ensured the SpeedFest will stay as a round in the EuroNASCAR schedule for the next five years.
“American SpeedFest, Britain’s largest celebration of US motorsport, will return to Brands Hatch for two days of supercharged action on 8/9 June 2024,” announced Brands Hatch on 4 August 2023.
“SpeedFest 11 will build upon the success the event has enjoyed over the past decade, culminating in a popular landmark tenth anniversary edition earlier this summer. The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will top the bill once again when a full field of V8 stock cars hits the world famous Brands Hatch Indy circuit next year.”
American SpeedFest 10 proved to be a round to remember. In addition to four gripping races that crowned a new “King” and “Prince” in Gianmarco Ercoli and Vladimiros Tziortzis, SpeedFest 10 brought a lot of new additions that made it the biggest SpeedFest event as of yet.
SpeedFest 10 welcomed displays from both NASCAR through its Garage 56 racer and Disney with their life-sized model of Lightning McQueen. It also featured a revamped Live Action Arena, the addition of the SpeedFest Country Music Festival and the return of Fan Zone Victory Lane that allowed fans to get up close with the race winners.
