World of EuroNASCAR highlights all of the key attractions for the American SpeedFest 10 as EuroNASCAR prepares their return to its most popular round on the calendar.
In less than ten days, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will be back in action in the United Kingdom as Brands Hatch is set to host the second round of the 2023 EuroNASCAR season, the American SpeedFest 10, Powered by Lucas Oil.
The American SpeedFest is EuroNASCAR’s crown jewel, attracting more than 40,000 spectators when the round was fully opened to the public for the first time since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022.
SpeedFest’s popularity can be attributed to the effort and commitment made by both NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and MotorSport Vision (MSV), the primary organizers of the event, to bring out the best offering for the fans in both on-track and off-track entertainment options for the past nine editions of the event.
With the 2023 edition being the tenth anniversary of the American SpeedFest, we will be taking a look to see what is on offer for the fans this year.

Four EuroNASCAR Races and Supporting Events
Without a doubt, the main headline of the SpeedFest is the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series itself. With two races each for the elite in EuroNASCAR PRO and the young and amateur talents in EuroNASCAR 2, there’s bound to be plenty of action that will be provided by the best in European stock car racing in 2023.
An added element of drama comes from the fact that only one race winner from 2022 is back to defend their victory: Alberto Naska. With Alon Day and Alexander Graff not participating and Liam Hezemans stepping up to the top class this year, it’s very likely that there’s going to be a new “King” of Brands Hatch being crowned on 17-18 June.

For those unable to attend the event, there’s no need to worry as EuroNASCAR provides a live streaming option on their official YouTube channel. The hotly contested Qualifying and Races will be broadcasted for free to all race fans around the world.
Races from the British Legends Cars National Championship, Pickup Truck Racing Championship, SpeedFest Silhouettes, Bernie’s V8’s & Historic Outlaws and a special Corvette 70th Anniversary Race will act as the supporting events in 2023, providing fans with a lot of other on-track option to enjoy during the SpeedFest weekend.

Special Displays from Garage 56 and Lightning McQueen
Headlining the off-track attractions for 2023 are the special displays that will be presented by both NASCAR and Disney on the fan zone. As part of the sport’s celebration of its 75th anniversary, NASCAR will be bringing the Garage 56 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 racer that is currently being raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The special project, which quickly became a fan-favorite at Circuit de la Sarthe during the recent Practice and Qualifying sessions, will be displayed alongside a life-sized model of Lightning McQueen, who will be back on the SpeedFest for the first time since 2016.

New and Improved Live Action Arena
The Live Action Arena that provides plenty of off-track excitement in the past editions of the SpeedFest has been revamped for the tenth anniversary edition. The Swamp Thing monster truck has headlined the Live Action Arena for many years, but for 2023 it will have a new dance partner as the Slingshot monster truck joins in the fun for both days.
Sideways action from Drift Trucks and Formula Gymkhana, along with the roaring sounds from the BRISCA Stock Cars, will also be present on the Live Action Arena for added spectacle for the fans.

Jamming to the SpeedFest Country Music Festival
New to the American SpeedFest in 2023 is the addition of the SpeedFest Country Music Festival, an event that MSV hopes will elevate the event even more. The SpeedFest Country Music Festival is accessible to everyone who purchased a SpeedFest ticket, with an option for an on-site camping upgrade at the area of the festival being available for purchase.
Singer-songwriter Kezia Gill will headline the SpeedFest Country on Saturday, while First Time Flyers tops the Sunday billing. Bailey Tomkinson, Laura Oakes, Gasoline & Mathes, Two Ways Home, Rev Ferriday, Backwoods Creek, Emilia Quinn, Troy Redfern and Outlaw Orchestra will also deliver their tunes over the course of the SpeedFest weekend.

The Return of Fan Zone Victory Lane and More
After two editions where the Victory Lane had to be relocated to the main podium area due to the limitations imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, American SpeedFest 10 promised to bring back the Fan Zone Victory Lane that had become synonymous with the event during its pre-pandemic years.
The usual display of classic and modern American muscle cars are back, as is the display and demonstration of other NASCAR machines that had been imported to the UK by their owners. Fans will also get to enjoy other entertainment options such as the County Fair, Trade Stands, American Food Stalls, Adventure Playground and Go-Karting on a mini layout of the Indy Circuit.
