NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and Circuit Ricardo Tormo have unveiled a special logo for Valencia NASCAR Fest to commemorate the event’s 10th anniversary.
NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and Circuit Ricardo Tormo will be celebrating a special edition of the Valencia NASCAR Fest in 2023 as the event is set to celebrate their 10th anniversary this year.
To commemorate the special event, Valencia NASCAR Fest has unveiled a special logo that will be used for the season opening round next month. The logo, which was officially announced yesterday, had been first revealed through EuroNASCAR’s website on 30 March 2023.

“It is a true honor for us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this great partnership between Circuit Ricardo Tormo and the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series,” said NWES President, CEO and founder Jerome Galpin.
“The track is one of the best in Europe. It offers the highest standards of safety, top class facilities and an unique layout where race fans can watch all the track while seated in the grandstands. All this combined with an amazing crew and management, as well as a fantastic fan base, makes Valencia a home run destination to kick-off the EuroNASCAR season! We can’t wait to start our engines and launch the 2023 NWES season at Circuit Ricardo Tormo!”

Circuit Ricardo Tormo first appeared in the calendar as the fourth round of the 2012 season. It is the first – and only – Spanish circuit to have hosted a NASCAR Whelen Euro Series race in the NASCAR era, having been present in all but one season of the series after NASCAR officially integrated Euro Series as part of its international series division.
After an absence in 2013, the circuit returned to the calendar in 2014 with the inaugural Valencia NASCAR Fest. The round acted as the season opening round of the year and has maintained its role as EuroNASCAR’s traditional opening round in almost every year since.
The pandemic affected 2020 season is the only year where Valencia NASCAR Fest doesn’t host the season opening round. It hosted the final two rounds of the year instead, hosting a total of eight races in a span of just three days through its “Valencia Super Speedweek” program to complete the shortened season.

“It is fantastic to celebrate 10 years of NASCAR racing at Circuit Ricardo Tormo. We have lived great moments together and the fans value NASCAR Whelen Euro Series’ races very positively, so I hope these are the first 10 years of a much longer relationship”, said Gabriel Berruga, Sports Director of Circuit Ricardo Tormo, in the official release.
The 2023 edition of Valencia NASCAR Fest is scheduled for 6-7 May and will be broadcasted live on EuroNASCAR’s official YouTube channel. The event will feature a special supporting event in F1 Academy, FIA’s newly launched racing series for young female talents.
Nicolò Rocca and Alon Day are the reigning race winners in the EuroNASCAR PRO class, while Alberto Naska will be the sole EuroNASCAR 2 race winner to defend his race win from 2022 because Vladimiros Tziortzis – who won the Saturday EN2 race last year – was promoted to the top class.
