EuroNASCAR PRO – Pole Sitters by Age
The all-time table for the youngest and oldest pole sitting drivers in EuroNASCAR’s top division, EuroNASCAR PRO.
In NASCAR Euro Series, Europe’s premier division of stock car racing, it is important for drivers and teams to score a pole position to maximize their chances of winning a race.
A total of 27 different drivers and 22 different teams have scored a Pole Position in EuroNASCAR PRO since the first season of official NASCAR sanctioning in 2012.
Listed below are the all-time table for EuroNASCAR PRO’s youngest and oldest pole sitters. The all-time list excludes races that are not considered as part of the official championship calendar, such as the 2012 exhibition race at Tours and the two Trofeo Angelo Caffi tournaments.
NOTE : The list shown below are correct as of the end of the 2024 EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder. Drivers shown in “bold” are drivers that have competed in at least one (1) EuroNASCAR PRO race of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season.

YOUNGEST POLE SITTERS
Paul Jouffreau is the youngest pole sitter in EuroNASCAR PRO. Jouffreau was 19 years and 222 days old when he took pole position for Race 2 of the 2023 American Festival of Rome at Vallelunga.
Jouffreau beat the previous record set by Eddie Cheever III, who was 21 years and 1 day old when he took pole position at the 2014 American SpeedFest.

OLDEST POLE SITTERS
Jacques Villeneuve is the oldest pole sitter in EuroNASCAR PRO. Villeneuve was 50 years and 205 days old when he took pole position for the 2021 American Festival of Rome at Vallelunga.
Villeneuve beat the previous record set by Bert Longin, who was 48 years and 168 days old when he took his only pole position at the 2014 Valencia NASCAR Fest.
