Two-time EuroNASCAR OPEN champion Martin Doubek announced his plans to stay with Hendriks Motorsport and race in EuroNASCAR PRO for 2026.
Martin Doubek continues his commitment to stay in the NASCAR Euro Series for the foreseeable future. Doubek officially announced his 2026 EuroNASCAR PRO campaign with Hendriks Motorsport on 17 October 2025.
The official announcement came after Doubek unofficially confirmed his 2026 plans during the EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder.
“I’m thrilled to be back in the NASCAR Euro Series,” said Doubek to nascar.eu. “This will be my 12th season, and of course, I’m gunning for more titles and wins.”
“Hendriks Motorsport is absolutely the best team I could ask for. I really want to make my team boss, Roy Hendriks, proud.”
The 2026 season is set to be Doubek’s eighth consecutive season with Hendriks. Doubek first joined Hendriks in 2019 and has enjoyed a great deal of success with the Dutch team.
Over the last seven seasons, Doubek has scored 17 races, 12 pole positions, 16 fastest laps and 39 podiums with Hendriks.
This included two EuroNASCAR OPEN championship titles, a feat that made Doubek the first – and so far only – multi-time champion in EuroNASCAR’s second division.
Doubek also scored seven EuroNASCAR PRO podiums in his time with Hendriks, showcasing the Czech’s potential to become a regular contender for victories in the top class.
Doubek is also still working for the possibility of doing double duty again. As things stands, he’s waiting for word from EuroNASCAR for his driver rating in 2026.
Currently Doubek is registered as a Grade B driver, having earned that status from his EuroNASCAR OPEN triumphs.
EuroNASCAR rules dictate that they can promote a driver to Grade A if they have achieved “comparable level of performance to Grade A drivers and/or any additional criteria deemed worthy of consideration”.
If Doubek is promoted to Grade A status, then he will be banned from further participation in EuroNASCAR OPEN as the division is only open for drivers with Grade B and Grade C ratings.
“It depends on the promoter if I can race both categories,” said Doubek in the Finals. “If it’s a yes, then I will race both. If not, then I will only drive in [EuroNASCAR] PRO. However, you’re certainly going to see me back on track again next year!”
