On his return to Brands Hatch, Max Marzorati aims to improve from the positive results that he achieved in the 2024 edition of the American SpeedFest.

British race fans will have plenty to cheer for in this year’s American SpeedFest. Four British drivers will be competing in the same EuroNASCAR race weekend, a first for the sport.

One of the local drivers is Harrow on the Hill’s Max Marzorati. Marzorati is one of the two full-time Brits in EuroNASCAR PRO. He currently races for CAAL Racing in their No. 89 Tekna Chevrolet Camaro.

Marzorati is undertaking his first full EuroNASCAR PRO campaign after he made a part-time debut in 2024 with Double V Racing.

He took part in two rounds that year: American Festival of Rome at Vallelunga and American SpeedFest 11 at Brands Hatch. The 2025 SpeedFest is set to be Marzorati’s second year of participation in EuroNASCAR’s crown jewel event.

Marzorati’s maiden SpeedFest saw him experiencing the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. The high point came in Saturday’s race, where he narrowly missed out on a first top-10 finish.

Marzorati was engaged in a highly exciting battle with American NASCAR star Ryan Vargas. Marzorati pressured Vargas for lap after lap, right until Vargas made a run-off excursion at Paddock Hill bend.

This handed Marzorati an eleventh place finish and also a good starting position for the Sunday race. Unfortunately, it was all for nothing: Contact at Paddock Hill sent Marzorati into the tire barrier on lap 1, ending his race just after it began.

Therefore, the goal for Marzorati is clear: Improve upon the positives from 2024. With the added experience gained from his 2025 campaign and the support from CAAL Racing, Marzorati believes that he has what it takes to secure his first top-10 finish at home.

“As a British driver at Brands, I’m excited and would like to improve on the good pace I had last year,” said Marzorati to World of EuroNASCAR.

“I received contact last year that ruined my Sunday. However, I hope to be faster this year and pushing well within the top 10.”

“The team were great working with a borrowed car at Vallelunga that I am truly grateful for. But, a puncture on the grid meant I was pushed off the grid before the race on Sunday and had to make my way from the back of the grid.”

“I made five places within the first lap again only to be driven into. So, I will carry more experience at Brands. With my experience in many formulas and finding pace with this great team, I’m hoping to surprise a few people.”
