Yvan Muller will race the M Racing PRO car at Vallelunga to assess the development progress for his self-run EuroNASCAR team.

After speculations regarding a possible return to the championship following his spectacular debut in Valencia, touring car legend Yvan Muller confirmed that he is indeed going to go back racing for one more time in the NASCAR GP Italy.
Muller was previously adamant that his Valencia outing with his team M Racing is a one-off. The Frenchman substituted for his nephew Yann Ehrlacher, who is barred from competing in Valencia due to TCR World Tour’s testing regulations.
However, on 6 May 2025, Muller announced via nascar.eu that he will be back for one more outing. According to the announcement, Muller will stay in the PRO seat of the No. 34 Chevrolet Camaro.
The touring car legend stated that his decision to return was down to uncertainty on where M Racing’s pace lies amongst the field. He declared that M Racing’s pace “wasn’t good enough” and wanted to see if the changes for Vallelunga were a step in the right direction.
“The reason I decided to race at Vallelunga is that our pace at Valencia wasn’t good enough,” said Muller to nascar.eu. “Our speed, our performance wasn’t good enough.”
“I want to compete at Vallelunga to continue to improve the car. I discovered the car in Valencia and now I have a better idea of what we need to do with the car. That’s why I want to confirm at Vallelunga if the direction we are going is good or not.”
M Racing has yet to confirm when Yann Ehrlacher is set to make his EuroNASCAR debut. Ehrlacher had started his 2025 racing campaign earlier this month with the season opening TCR round at Mexico City.
