After completing his EuroNASCAR campaign with Granducato Speed, Veeti Rajala is pursuing an opportunity to win the V8 Thunder Finland championship in 2025.

Veeti Rajala has announced his destination for the new racing season. After a season in EuroNASCAR, Rajala is setting his sights for the V8 Thunder Finland championship title in 2025.

Rajala will be racing the No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro Harri Komu’s PKH Racing. The program with PKH was officially announced on 18 April 2025, in time for the 2025 American Car Show exhibition event at Helsinki.

Rajala made a good impression in the 2024 EuroNASCAR season. Racing for Granducato Speed in EuroNASCAR 2, Rajala showed steady improvement from race to race.

This allowed Rajala to establish himself as one of front runners for the Rookie Trophy in 2024. He eventually finished the season in 15th place, scoring two top-10 finishes at Brands Hatch and Autodrom Most.

Unfortunately, Rajala had to find a new destination after it became apparent that Granducato Speed is not continuing their participation in EuroNASCAR.

After negotiations with teams in various championships, a deal was agreed with PKH Racing to field Rajala for the full 2025 season.

Interestingly, PKH Racing already has a EuroNASCAR connection in the form of ex-Team Bleekemolen driver Jonne Rautjärvi.

Rautjärvi was Harri Komu’s driver coach in a successful 2024 campaign. Through Rautjärvi’s guidance, Komu was able to win V8 Thunder Finland’s Master Trophy at the end of the season.

“After a long winter break, it’s time for our annual decision – where to race next,” announced Rajala on social media.

“I’ve spent the winter fully focused on my studies and, as a result, will be finishing my business degree a year ahead of schedule. A great place to push forward from!”

“Some new opportunities have opened up in my racing career, but the reality of motorsport today is that it takes three bags of money. One for racing, one for training, and one for parts and travel. We’ve only had half a bag, but with that, we’ve pulled off some amazing things!”

“Now, we’ve got something completely new in our hands! Thanks to a fantastic opportunity from Harri Komu at PKH Racing, we’ll be racing in the V8 Thunder Finland series.”

“For the first time, we’ll also have the chance to train properly! After some thought, we decided to grab this opportunity with both hands.”

“This is a totally new adventure for us. We’ve never raced in a circuit series in Finland before! Most of the tracks will be new to us, apart from Alastaro’s old layout, where we briefly tested an F4 car & Porsche GT3 a few years ago.”

“We’ve built a great junior crew for the support team, and our experienced lead mechanic will ensure everything runs smoothly. Huge thanks to PKH Racing for the trust, now it’s full speed ahead!”
