Raceway Venray announces the return of NASCAR Oval GP, which is currently scheduled for 28-29 June 2025.
The half-mile Raceway Venray oval in the Netherlands will be back to the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series calendar in 2025, as revealed by the official announcement of Venray’s racing schedule for next year.
Venray is scheduled to host a new edition of the NASCAR Oval GP on 28-29 June 2025, effectively putting the EuroNASCAR round in the same time and date slot as it was in 2024.
The 2024 event was EuroNASCAR’s first oval race since 2019. The round followed the same format as it was five years ago, in which EuroNASCAR 2 and EuroNASCAR PRO hosted one race on separate days.
EN2’s race was held on Saturday and was won by Martin Doubek, with Ryan Vargas taking his maiden series podium in this event.
ENPRO’s race on Sunday was won by Liam Hezemans, continuing the legacy of his older brother Loris who won at Venray in 2019.
The reveal was made in a social media post that was published on 19 September. In that post, Venray announced a 10-race calendar that was split into seven race weekends held from March to October.
Outside of EuroNASCAR, Venray will continue to feature the V8 Oval Series as the primary headline series.
Other prestigious European short track championships such as the National Hotrod Super Cup and Stockcar F1 & F2 World Cup will also host their crown jewel rounds at the half-mile oval.
