Davide Dallara has been officially announced by SpeedHouse Racing as the driver of the No. 64 Ford Mustang in EuroNASCAR PRO at Vallelunga.
After an early reveal through EuroNASCAR’s Provisional Entry List, SpeedHouse Racing has officially announced Davide Dallara as the driver of the No. 64 Rock’s Sunglasses Ford Mustang for the 2024 American Festival of Rome at Autodromo Vallelunga.
Dallara is thus set to make his return to the championship after two seasons of absence. The Italian last raced at Autodrom Most in 2022, his last appearance with his previous team Not Only Motorsport.

“So, here I am!” said Dallara in the official announcement. “I’m very happy to be back after almost 2 years, especially in my home race.”
“I will not be at 100% in performance since I need a bit of practice after all this time, but I’m hopeful and I’m sure I will do a good job with the help of such a good team as SpeedHouse.”
“I discovered SpeedHouse in their 2022 Winter Camp and I found a great atmosphere as well as a high technical competence. I also find that Lucas is a huge expert of the series with no fear to share information about the driving style.”

“Thus, I decided to join SpeedHouse for my comeback in EuroNASCAR. At the moment I have no chance to compete for a full season as I’m working hard to raise sponsorships and reach the target.”
“About the GP Italy race, I expect that there will be a lot of Italian fans and I will be really happy and motivated to meet them and feel their cheers for me and the other Italian drivers!”

Having parted ways with Not Only at the end of the 2022 season, Dallara joined SpeedHouse’s Winter Camp test sessions to have a shakedown with one of the team’s Ford Mustang.
His performance in the Winter Camp was noticed by SpeedHouse team owner Lucas Lasserre, who was impressed with Dallara’s “speed and control” as well as “his talent and commitment”.
Lasserre kept a close call with the 2020 Challenger Trophy winner after the test was over. Even though Dallara was unable to get a deal for 2023, the Italian worked hard with Lasserre and Sporting Manager Marco Raggi to secure one for this year’s American Festival of Rome.

“I’m thrilled to announce Davide Dallara’s participation in his Italian home race at Vallelunga!” said Lasserre in the press release. “Davide embodies everything I admire in a driver: Attentive, respectful, fast but not taking unnecessary risks and always motivated!”
“During our 2022 Winter Camp, Davide impressed us with his speed and control, showcasing his talent and commitment. His loyalty to SpeedHouse speaks volumes about his character and I couldn’t be happier to have him on board.”
“While I don’t expect miracles from his return, I simply want him to savor every moment of his Italian GP. He has my full support, along with the entire SpeedHouse staff.”
“For the past 2 years, Davide, Marco Raggi and I have been tirelessly working on a comprehensive program and I have every confidence in our success. Never give up! Benvenuto in Blu, Davide!”
