Vladimiros Tziortzis signed a new sponsorship deal with Cyprus investment firm HTFX and will be transferred to Academy Motorsport’s No. 1 team for the rest of the season.
Academy Motorsport will have a shake-up in its driver roster prior to their home race at Vallelunga. Vladimiros Tziortzis will now race the No. 1 Ford Mustang after he signed a new sponsorship deal with Cyprus-based investment firm and forex broker HTFX.
Tziortzis and HTFX’s partnership was revealed in a press conference that was held at Cyprus National Olympic Committee’s Olympic Hall in Nicosia.
The sponsorship from HTFX further enhances the recognition for Tziortzis in his home country. The 27-year old driver is now a member of Cyprus’ Road Safety Ambassador Program and has received awards from the likes of Cyprus Sports Writers Union thanks to his success in EuroNASCAR.

“I would like to thank HTFX from the bottom of my heart for the trust,” said Tziortzis, who also became a Global Ambassador for HTFX, to euronascar.com. “Both industries are well known for their similar characteristics and values such as Safety-Technology-Speed-Risks-Multitask Procedures.”
“We will march together in the EuroNASCAR battle, and with the company’s support I will give my best once again to raise the Cyprus flag on top.”

HTFX has been active globally since its formation in 2018. The company has received authorization from the likes of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CYSEC) in Cyprus, and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) in Vanuatu.
According to Cyprus Mail, HTFX currently has offices in Cyprus, UK, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Vanuatu.

Tziortzis currently sits 17th in the overall standings of EuroNASCAR PRO, but it is not indicative of his true pace as he was involved in two separate first lap incidents at Valencia – including the Big One that took both him and teammate Patrick Lemarié out of the race.
With Tziortzis racing the No. 1 car, Lemarié will be transferred to the No. 5 Ford Mustang for the rest of the season. The Andorran-based Frenchman will thus be reunited with the car that he rode to victory at Rijeka two years ago.
