Thomas Dombrowski will be staying at Race Planet Team Bleekemolen to continue his participation in the No. 66 car on both EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2.

Race Planet Team Bleekemolen will be retaining the services of Thomas Dombrowski after it was announced that the young Frenchman is staying with the No. 66 team for the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season in both EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2.

The news, which was announced on 24 January, makes Dombrowski and the No. 66 team the second entry that the Dutch team has confirmed for 2024, giving them the status as the first team to officially announce a multiple car effort this year.

Dombrowski competed full-time in EN2 last year whilst also taking part in selected ENPRO races. He proved himself to be a strong contender in the Rookie Trophy, winning five of the first six races on the sub-classification.

While his hopes for the overall Trophy win was dashed with a string of incidents during the penultimate race at Zolder, his performances throughout the year was good enough for a ninth place finish in the overall standings, scoring one top-5 and eight top-10’s with the purple-cladded No. 66 Chevrolet Camaro.

Dombrowski was pleased with not only how he performed, but also with the experience of driving the EuroNASCAR stock cars and competing in the series.

The latter part played a huge factor in the Frenchman choosing to stay in EuroNASCAR for another season, as he mentioned to Andre Wiegold on euronascar.com.

“EuroNASCAR offers a brilliant feeling in the car, an unparalleled challenge on the track and a very demanding level of competition,” said the 22-year old driver from Angerville. “The atmosphere and the tens of thousands of fans make this championship so special.”

“In 2024, I want to finish in the top-3 overall and have a shot at the Junior Trophy. I really enjoy the grid walks with tons of fans surrounding us and the pressure that builds up before a race, it’s something really special.”
