RDV Competition has announced that reigning EuroNASCAR 2 champion Paul Jouffreau will be contesting the 2024 EuroNASCAR PRO season with the No. 3 team for the full season.

EuroNASCAR’s sensation Paul Jouffreau is ready to make a push for the top prize of European stock car racing after it was announced yesterday that he will be stepping up to EuroNASCAR PRO for the full season with RDV Competition in 2024.

Jouffreau and RDV made a visit to Circuit Ricardo Tormo to sign the contract extension. The promotion ensures that they will be together in the Team’s Championship winning No. 3 Ford Mustang for another season.

“To win a championship like EuroNASCAR PRO, a team and a driver must be prepared in the best possible way,” said RDV’s team owner Franck Violas on Jouffreau’s contract extension.

“There’s nothing better than signing a driver as early as possible and starting to work on the program for 2024. This deal gives us the right time to work hard to prepare for the upcoming season.”

“Paul is fully integrated into the team and knows how to take advantage of our years of experience. We have his talent and youth which make the difference. We rely on each other and that is a big key to success.”

Jouffreau, the 19-year old driver from Blaye, was recently crowned as the 2023 EuroNASCAR 2 champion thanks to his blistering pace and incredible consistency. He scored three race wins and 11 top-5 finishes on his way to his first ever championship title in EuroNASCAR.

The Frenchman also proved that he was more than ready to compete against NASCAR Whelen Euro Series’ best drivers when he received an unexpected promotion to ENPRO mid-season.

Jouffreau quickly adapted to the more competitive environment and scored a podium finish on his debut race. He followed it up with a victory in just his fourth race in the top class at Most, a feat that made him the youngest race winner in EuroNASCAR PRO history.

He continued his record setting achievement in the following rounds. Jouffreau became the first driver to win two races in the same day at Oschersleben and was the second driver to sweep the Pole Position Awards in the season finale at Zolder.

With the success of 2023 now written in the history books, the talented youngster is ready to make the next step of his career with the guidance of Violas and former teammate – now mentor – Frédéric Gabillon.

“I feel comfortable at RDV Competition,” said Jouffreau to euronascar.com. “The atmosphere is excellent and the moments shared with Franck and his teams are both enjoyable and educational. I’m very lucky to have a perfectly prepared and competitive car each race weekend.”

“Having our engineer Claude Galopin and NWES veteran Frederic Gabillon on board for 2024 is also an asset. Everything is possible with RDV Competition and I’m looking forward to the 2024 EuroNASCAR PRO season.”

Jouffreau is set to have his license upgraded to Grade A in 2024, which meant he will be vacating his EuroNASCAR 2 seat as the Frenchman is now ineligible to do double duty. However, Violas is ready to nurture a new talent to become the next superstar in the sport.

“I want to take other drivers to Victory Lane,” expressed Violas. “We want to take advantage of the amazing EuroNASCAR career ladder in Club Challenge and EuroNASCAR 2 to create another successful EuroNASCAR PRO driver.”

“EuroNASCAR 2 is an extremely competitive championship for young drivers coming from karting or other racing categories, and the perfect playground for gentleman drivers who share a passion for Pure Racing. At the same time, it’s a great challenge for experienced drivers in EuroNASCAR PRO.”
