Bremotion has officially announced that Alina Loibnegger will join the team to race the No. 99 Chevrolet in EuroNASCAR 2 for NASCAR GP Czech Republic.

Alina Loibnegger is set for a temporary return to the EuroNASCAR 2 division with Bremotion, as previously reported in our first Preview for NASCAR GP Czech Republic.

The German team has officially announced Loibnegger’s ride with the team yesterday, confirming that the 28-year old Austrian driver will join Tobias Dauenhauer in the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro at Most.

“With Alina, we have been able to sign up an experienced pilot for our EN2 cockpit. It is great to have a female racer for Bremotion for the first time,” said Bremotion team boss Patrick Brenndörfer in their official press release.

Loibnegger had previously competed in EuroNASCAR 2 for two seasons after running in the EuroNASCAR Club Challenge division for a few years. She debuted in 2021 with Solaris Motorsport and gained important experience by finishing every single race.

A tumultuous off-season followed before she found a new home at Racingfuel Motorsport in the 2022 season. Her sophomore year went much better and despite losing the Lady Trophy honor to Luli del Castello, Loibnegger finished the season with three top-10 finishes – the most out of any female driver in the series that year.

This was enough for her to decide to move up to EuroNASCAR’s top class in 2023. Once again racing with Racingfuel Motorsport, Loibnegger has scored one podium finish in the Challenger Trophy and currently sits 20th in the overall standings.

However, Racingfuel will not enter this week’s round because her car was totaled in an accident at Vallelunga. As a result, Loibnegger has chosen to make a brief return to the junior division and race alongside Dauenhauer, who is currently two places above her in the ENPRO standings.

“I’m really looking forward to it and I’m grateful for the opportunity to drive for Bremotion in Most. The track is one of my favorites and I’m extra motivated by my top-10 result last year,” said Loibnegger on her prospects this week.
