After missing the Valencia NASCAR Fest, Bremotion will be making their EuroNASCAR debut at American SpeedFest 10 with Tobias Dauenhauer and Gordon Barnes sharing driving duties of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro.
Bremotion has officially announced their drivers for the team’s first NASCAR Whelen Euro Series appearance at the American SpeedFest 10 next week. In the official announcement that was released yesterday, Tobias Dauenhauer and Gordon Barnes are revealed to be the drivers of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro at Brands Hatch.
The team had announced their intentions to compete in the 2023 season, but they were forced to miss the season opening round at Valencia. It was originally rumored that sponsorship issues prevented the team from making its debut in Spain, but it was subsequently revealed that late delivery of parts that were ordered from the United States had caused the team’s delayed debut.

“NASCAR is on everyone’s lips and is also becoming increasingly popular in Europe. I am happy that we are now ready to celebrate our debut in EuroNASCAR,” said Bremotion’s Managing Director Patrick Brenndörfer on the official release.
“The past few months have been very work-intensive, as our Camaro was completed late and we had to familiarize ourselves with the car first. However, the test drives were promising and the basis is in place, as we were able to win over two experienced drivers in Tobias and Gordon.”

With the announcement, Tobias Dauenhauer is confirmed to be making his return to the series after more than a year. The two-time EuroNASCAR 2 runner-up was forced to miss most of the 2022 season due to sponsorship issues, but he did make a solid first impression on his sole EuroNASCAR PRO outing at Valencia.
Racing Hendriks Motorsport’s No. 50 Ford Mustang, Dauenhauer secured a podium finish in his debut race to showcase that he’s ready to fight it out against the best in European stock car racing. His ride at Bremotion is his first non-Hendriks ride in EuroNASCAR, although Hendriks will be supporting Bremotion’s efforts as their technical partner.
“I am mega happy to be back in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series”, said the German to euronascar.com. “Despite being away from the race car for over a year, my goal with my new team Bremotion is to be at the top and to be able to fight for victories. I’m really looking forward to Brands Hatch and can’t wait!”

For Gordon Barnes, the Bremotion ride at Brands Hatch will be the Brit’s first outing in the EuroNASCAR 2 division. Barnes is EuroNASCAR’s first British champion, having won back-to-back EuroNASCAR Club Challenge titles in 2021 and 2022.
While Barnes is defending his EuroNASCAR Club Challenge title in 2023 with Marko Stipp Motorsport, the opportunity to step up the ranks and race in EN2 with Bremotion on his home round is something that he can’t pass up easily.

“Ever since I first raced a late model on ovals, driving in a NASCAR series became a goal”, said Barnes to euronascar.com. “I think everyone who does always thinks about doing that. It is just a bit harder in Europe. I managed to join the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series in the Club Challenge division and I’ve had success there.”
“When I was offered this opportunity I realized it was the chance to fulfill a dream and race in NASCAR. Hopefully I can use my previous successes and succeed in the EuroNASCAR 2 class. We’ve seen other drivers make the transition and be successful, now it’s my chance to follow in their tracks.”
