Not Only Motorsport announces that the team will be expanding into a three-car team in 2021 with the addition of the No. 91 Camaro that will accompany the No. 89 and No. 90 cars that have been announced previously.

Not Only Motorsport will be adding a third car on their roster in 2021 after they announced yesterday that the team will be adding the No. 91 Camaro to accompany the No. 89 and No. 90 cars that have been revealed as part of Euro Series’ provisional season entry list.

The team confirms that defending Challenger Trophy winner Davide Dallara will continue to drive the team’s flagship No. 89 Camaro in the PRO class as the team hopes that they would be able to build upon the unexpected success that Dallara had achieved in 2020.

Alberto Panebianco, who made his debut as the team’s second PRO driver at Valencia last year, will be set to become Dallara’s EuroNASCAR 2 teammate in the No. 89 team for the full season.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment for my whole life and it’s a dream come true,” said Panebianco in the official announcement. “I’m very happy and so motivated to race in the EuroNASCAR 2 Championship. My aim is to experience a successful debut season and play my chances in the Rookie Trophy.”

“We know that the level of competition is very high and I have to learn a lot as it’s my first year in racing. I’ll take the challenge and we’ll see how we progress during the season. Massive thanks to the Not Only Motorsport family for the opportunity, we are ready to fight!”

The announcement meant that Igor Romanov isn’t going to be scheduled to drive the No. 89 car in 2021, contrasting the speculation that we have made on a previous article of ours. Romanov is now going to be set to drive the team’s No. 91 car instead, also planning to compete for the full season in EuroNASCAR 2.

“It was my biggest dream to become a NASCAR driver and that’s why I’m so happy to be here,” said Romanov in the official announcement. “I’m very grateful to my team Not Only Motorsport and the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series for the possibility to continue this beautiful trip.”

“Our young team will be much stronger this season. Also during all this time I’ve made a lot of things to promote our series in Ukraine. Sure very soon you’ll see here more drivers from our region.”

As for Not Only No. 90 car, the team reveals that Italian ex-rally driver Andrea Nori and Israeli young talent Naveh Talor will be driving the car in PRO and EN2 respectively. Nori will be making his debut in the series while Talor makes his return to full-time competition after he drove for Not Only on a part-time basis in 2020.

“After being almost two years absent from racing, I’m finally ready to get back in the game,” said Nori. “I’m sure I’ve chosen a competitive championship that will bring me a lot of fun and satisfaction. I really can’t wait to get started! My expectations are high and with my team I will try to be right in the mix from the very beginning. I’m looking forward to racing in Valencia.”

“I’m really excited to be back with the Not Only Motorsport team in the 2021 season,” said Talor. “The whole team and welcomed me in last year’s Valencia event and showed me their potential and professionalism to be fighting at the top positions while allowing me to feel at home with the friendly atmosphere.”

“I think together we can achieve great results as it will be my second or third time at some of the tracks which has never happened in my career. My goal is to constantly fight for the top 5 and to finally achieve some podiums and have the Israeli flag on the podium.”
