Profile:

Salvador Tineo Arroyo began his racing career in touring cars, racing in Spain’s Renault Clio Cup and Mini Challenge before he switching to GT4 European Series in 2014. The same year, Tineo also drove for Ford Autolix Competition in the Elite 2 class of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and achieved immediate success, scoring 2 podiums and 4 Top 5 finishes in his 4 starts in 2014.

Making his full-time debut in the Elite 2 class for CAAL Racing in 2015, Tineo enjoyed a successful two-year career in the Elite 2, scoring 2 race wins and 14 podiums before CAAL promoted him to the Elite 1 class in 2017. A successful season would saw Tineo finished in the Top 10 in all but 1 race in his debut Elite 1 season, but unfortunately funding started to ran dry and he was forced to ran part-time in 2018.

In the meantime, Tineo began to compete in hillclimb racing fielding his own Evo X and he too achieved success in hillclimb, proving that he can be fast on multiple racing categories. For the 2019 season, Tineo will continue to compete in hillclimb racing while also making the return to full-time competition in the Euro Series with Speedhouse 64’s No. 64 Speedhouse / Benahavis Chevrolet SS in the Elite 1 class.

With Speedhouse not entering the rounds at Most and Venray, Tineo would later opt to drive for Mishumotors in the No. 70 Hurst Shifters SS and for Marko Stipp Motorsport in the No. 46 Sanremo Coffee Machines / Hewlett-Packard Chevrolet Camaro at Most and Venray respectively.
