Brad Ranson signed a contract with SpeedHouse to confirm his plans to compete in NASCAR Canada and EuroNASCAR V8GP in the same season.
Canadian racer Brad Ranson will have a completely unique challenge in his hands for the 2026 racing season.
Ranson will be undertaking a dual campaign across both nascar.ca and NASCAR Euro Series after Ranson was officially announced as the V8GP driver for SpeedHouse’s No. 33 Ford Mustang on 8 April 2026.
He will be joined by Finnish driver Henri Timonen, who was announced as the EuroNASCAR OPEN driver of the No. 33 team on the same day.
The announcement follows upon Ranson’s participation in the second edition of EuroNASCAR’s 2026 Recruitment Test in January.
During the test, Ranson met SpeedHouse team boss Lucas Lasserre, who was present to coach the Recruitment Test participants. The opportunity gave both parties the chance to negotiate a deal for the upcoming season.
“We are delighted to welcome Brad Ranson from Canada to SpeedHouse in the 2026 NASCAR PRO V8GP!” said SpeedHouse team boss Lucas Lasserre in the official announcement.
“I met Brad during NES Winter Camp last January. He is totally in line with the SpeedHouse mindset of positive, relaxed but serious, totally focused and I am therefore happy to have him among us.”
“It will be also a great pleasure to welcome his family and to share all together a great time and racing weekend in the perfect atmosphere.”
Ranson had previously been announced as part of DJK Racing’s 2026 NASCAR Canada team on 18 December 2025.
In NASCAR Canada, Ranson is scheduled to compete in both Mosport rounds, Calabogie Motorsports Park, Grand Prix of Markham and Delaware Speedway.
The unique dual opportunity is something that Ranson is looking forward to for 2026, as he prepares for the bigger leagues following a successful 2025 Super Production Challenge season where he finished fifth in the standings.
“I’m super excited to join SpeedHouse for the 2026 NASCAR PRO V8GP season,” said Ranson in the official announcement. “I met Lucas during the test day and it couldn’t be a better fit to join a team led by a 2-time champion.”
“Adding this program to my 2026 schedule will only help to compete at the front in both Europe and Canada. The EuroNASCAR car is a raw, powerful but balanced car to drive and I look forward to competing against the best in Europe and to bring SpeedHouse to podiums!”
