24 of the 26 Premium Entries open for the 2026 EuroNASCAR season have been secured, leaving only two spots that are still available.
NASCAR Euro Series officially announced an Preliminary Entry List featuring 24 out of the 26 full-time entries that will be competing in the 2026 season.
Sixteen teams from eleven countries will become part of the 2026 EuroNASCAR season via the newly instituted “Premium Entry” system, with more teams still battling to secure the last two spots that are still available.
“The 2026 season of the NASCAR Euro Series will feature a complete 26-team grid, confirming the impressive growth, stability and competitive depth of Europe’s premier touring car series,” announced EuroNASCAR on 4 March 2026.
“24 full-season spots already assigned while multiple projects push to secure the final full season entries. Others will be welcomed to participate in selected events based on Wild Card entries.”
Twelve out of the 16 teams listed in the Preliminary Entry List have announced their entries before.
In order of announcement, they were: Bremotion, Hendriks Motorsport, PK Carsport, RDV Competition, Marko Stipp Motorsport, CAAL Racing, SpeedHouse, Alumitec Racing, Kolkhi GRT (formerly Team Georgia), Hunter Aviation Racing, Rette Jones Racing and reigning Teams champion Team Bleekemolen.
The Entry List announcement therefore confirms four additional teams, all of which are returning efforts: Lux Motorsport, Club Competition, Race Art Technology and Team Japan Needs24.
Lux Motorsport, EuroNASCAR’s sole entry from the United Kingdom, will continue to enter a single car with their traditional No. 21 team.
The Stirling-based outfit has been pretty active in the off-season with their testing programmes. After a test at Fontenay in November with Jack Davidson and Jason Friday, Lux visited Donington Park in February for another shakedown with Davidson behind the wheel.
Both Race Art Technology and Team Japan Needs24 – now referred to as Needs24 by RDV – also plan to maintain their single-car plans with their respective No. 34 and No. 74 teams in 2026.
Race Art is therefore set for their first full-season campaign since 2024, while Team Japan is expected to do its first full-season campaign after competing part-time in the last four seasons.
Long-time veterans Club Competition was only able to secure one full-time entry in the Preliminary Entry List, although interestingly Club is listed to retain the No. 22 team instead of the flagship No. 55 team.
Club still own the two cars that they compete with from 2022, so it is expected that they will be fighting to secure one of the last two open Premium Entry spots for the No. 55 team.
Club will not be the only team fighting for the last Premium Entry positions. As things stands, Bremotion have only secured an entry for their flagship No. 99 team as well, leaving the status of Julien Rehberg and the No. 77 team in limbo.
Fellow German team Marko Stipp Motorsport also had just a single entry for the No. 47 team. Despite this, their listing in the Preliminary Entry List confirms MSM’s status as full-time competitors once again.
On the other hand, powerhouses CAAL Racing and Hendriks Motorsport are set to expand their teams in 2026.
The revived flagship No. 54 CAAL Racing team – driven by the already announced Giovanni Cartechini and Claudio Remigio Cappelli – will be joined by the brand new No. 73 entry, whose drivers will be announced in the near future.
Hendriks will also revive their flagship No. 50 team, turning the Dutch team into a two-car squad once again.
One notable omission from the Preliminary Entry List is Academy Motorsport. The team co-led by Federico Monti and Alex Caffi has yet to secure a Premium Entry, making them the only outfit from 2025 – outside of M Racing, whose EuroNASCAR entry was claimed by Race Art Technology – to not have a Premium Entry so far.
World of EuroNASCAR understands that Academy is still fighting for a full-time spot in 2026. However, their lack of early announcements opens the possibility of Academy’s disappearance from the grid after a long and successful lineage dating back to 2016.
