Marko Stipp Motorsport drivers Alexander Graff and Thomas Pourrain gave their thoughts ahead of the first EuroNASCAR appearance of 2025 at Oschersleben.
Alexander Graff and Thomas Pourrain gave their thoughts on the NASCAR Euro Series opportunity that Marko Stipp Motorsport provides for the 2025 NASCAR GP Germany at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.
Graff and Pourrain are part of the group of drivers that MSM had signed for their return to Oschersleben. Graff will race the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro in EuroNASCAR PRO, while Pourrain will make his debut in the sister No. 48 car in EuroNASCAR Rookie Challenge.
For Graff, the Oschersleben opportunity marked the Swede’s first EuroNASCAR appearance since the 2022 finale at Rijeka.
The Swede, who finished runner-up in the 2022 season, said on social media that he received a last-minute call up from Marko Stipp to see if he’s available to race in Germany.
“Thanks to Marko Stipp Motorsport for calling and asking if I could drive fast in Germany this weekend!” posted Graff on 17 September in his social media account.
“Of course, I said that yesterday [Saturday 16] at 7 p.m… Now all that’s left is to book a flight, take time off work, and reserve a rental car and hotel.”
For Pourrain, he sees his Rookie Challenge outing as a big leap forward for his career. The Canadian currently competes in Raceway Venray’s V8 Oval Series, where he sits seventh in the standings on his rookie season.
Pourrain finished runner-up on his most recent Venray outing back in August, only four seconds behind reigning V8 Oval Series champion Esten Coumans.
“Joining Marko Stipp Motorsport at Oschersleben in the NASCAR Euro Series is a big step in my career,” said Pourrain in the official press release.
“The team has a strong reputation, and I am proud to represent them as I take on this challenge. For me, it is not only about competing but also about learning as much as I can and developing as a driver.”
