NASCAR Whelen Euro Series champions and delegates will be invited to NASCAR Champion’s Week at Nashville where they will be honored for their achievements in 2023.
Seven NASCAR Whelen Euro Series delegates, headlined by 2023 champions Gianmarco Ercoli and Paul Jouffreau, will be making the trip to the United States next week after they received an invitation to join NASCAR’s Champion’s Week at Nashville, Tennessee.
The 2023 NASCAR Champion’s Week is the fourth to be held at Nashville, but it will be EuroNASCAR’s first opportunity to be invited to the Music City banquet after a three-year absence caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As we continue to commemorate our diamond anniversary, there is no other place we’d rather return for our end of the year celebration than Music City,” said Pete Jung, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at NASCAR.
“We are ecstatic to bring Champion’s Week back to Nashville for a fourth year. The energy of this city never goes unnoticed and the fans’ dedication for our sport never fails.”

Outside of Ercoli and Jouffreau, here are the five other delegates that will be present at Nashville next week:
- Franck Violas, representing EuroNASCAR’s Teams Champion RDV Competition.
- Luca Canneori, representing CAAL Racing – the team of EuroNASCAR PRO champion Gianmarco Ercoli.
- Vladimiros Tziortzis, representing the runner-up of EuroNASCAR 2.
- Gil Linster, representing the third-place driver in EuroNASCAR 2.
- Jack Davidson, representing the top rookie driver in EuroNASCAR 2.

The 75th anniversary of NASCAR presents the perfect opportunity for EuroNASCAR’s return to Champion’s Week. Select EuroNASCAR personalities used to be a staple of the Champion’s Week before COVID-19 put a halt on the invites.
Advancements in medical technology over the past few years has allowed the world to combat COVID-19 effectively, giving NASCAR the chance to bring back the EuroNASCAR representatives for the 2023 edition of Champion’s Week.

“We are extremely happy to return to the United States to celebrate our 2023 champions during the NASCAR Championship Week, said EuroNASCAR’s President, CEO and founder Jerome Galpin.
“The very cool thing is that all NASCAR ceremonies will be held in the same city. We are sure our drivers and teams will have a great time and the opportunity to connect with other members of the NASCAR family from the Cup Series to the Weekly Series.”
“It’s a great pleasure for us to attend these events and to offer this opportunity to our competitors. It’s a well deserved honor for them and it proves once again the important international exposure we can provide to the competitors of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series.”

Champions from NASCAR’s International Series will be honored with a special banquet that is scheduled to be held on 28 November.
The activities will be continued on 29 November with two primary activities: NASCAR House and NASCAR Champions Parade.
NASCAR House, held at the Fifth + Broadway shopping center from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, acts as a live on-stage panel that gives the drivers a chance to meet their fans with immersive activities such as Q&A’s.

Gianmarco Ercoli himself is scheduled to take part in one of the Q&A panels. He will be accompanied by NASCAR Mexico Series champion Salvador de Alba Jr. for the 11:30 AM CT panel.
In between the NASCAR House parade, the NASCAR champions will take to the streets of Nashville with the NASCAR Champions Parade. It is scheduled to be held from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM CT with Ercoli listed as one of the drivers selected to take part in the parade.

NASCAR Champion’s Week activities will conclude on 30 November. All of the 2023 champions, including Ercoli, will be recognized in the NASCAR Awards at Nashville’s Music City Center on the final day of the banquet.
