World of EuroNASCAR’s first Race Preview for the NASCAR GP Czech Republic takes a look at all of the changes in the Entry List for Autodrom Most.
The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series competitors get up from their summer break slumber this week as the series is set to visit Autodrom Most for the fourth edition of the NASCAR GP Czech Republic, the fourth round of the 2023 season.
Autodrom Most made its debut in the EuroNASCAR schedule in 2019 as a standalone event before EuroNASCAR and FIA European Truck Racing Championship joined forces to host a double headline round in 2021, an arrangement that has been kept to this day.

The round has provided many highlights, which for last year saw the crowning of a first time winner in Sebastiaan Bleekemolen and Alberto Naska’s first weekend sweep in EuroNASCAR. The 25 teams and 47 drivers that are listed on the provisional Entry List for Most will get their chance to make their own moment to remember this weekend.
This NASCAR GP Czech Republic Preview article is going to be the first of a three-part article, with Part 1 focusing on all of the changes listed in the Entry List. As usual, the upcoming Parts 2 and 3 will be focused on our preview for the EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 races.

As previously reported, Racingfuel Motorsport will not make the trip to the Czech Republic. Nick Strickler’s heavy crash at Vallelunga completely destroyed the No. 94 Chevrolet and with the team not finding someone to race the No. 58 Chevrolet, Racingfuel has decided to skip the round to give them time to prepare for a possible comeback at Oschersleben.
The three teams that made their first outing of the season at Vallelunga – Panasport, Double T and Uber Modern Racing – have opted to not enter the round at Most. Surprisingly, the Bulgarian Team is also missing from the Entry List even though Michaela Dorcikova said to Racers – Behind the Helmet back in May that the team is due to be back this week.

Dorcikova is still part of the EuroNASCAR PRO field for Most however, joining 22 other drivers in the provisional Entry List. She will be back in a familiar ride as she struck a deal with Academy Motorsport to race the team’s No. 1 Ford Mustang as part of an all-female team – the first since Carole Perrin and Caty Caly’s outing with Autosport 42 at Nogaro in 2013.
This does mean that Advait Deodhar will not compete at Most, locking the Indian driver’s joker round quota for the season. Another notable change came from Marko Stipp Motorsport, who will have Yevgen Sokolovskiy back at the wheel of the No. 48 GTOmega Chevrolet after Tuomas Pontinen raced the car at Vallelunga.

Twenty three drivers are also listed on the EuroNASCAR 2 field. Headlining the changes are the debut of Stefani Mogorović, who will make her series debut with the aforementioned all-female team at Academy. She had previously tested for Academy Motorsport during pre-season, so she should feel familiar with the No. 1 Ford Mustang for this week.
Mogorovic’s entry meant that Max Mason will not be competing this weekend. Mason revealed that he was recommended to sit out the round at Most due to the injuries that he suffered during the previous round at Vallelunga.

Strickler’s teammate Alina Loibnegger is the other notable change in the Entry List. With Loibnegger not able to find a replacement ride in EuroNASCAR PRO due to Racingfuel’s withdrawal, she opted to make a one-off return to EuroNASCAR 2 as the teammate of Tobias Dauenhauer in the No. 99 Bremotion Camaro.
Elsewhere, Matthias Hauer is back on the No. 40 SpeedHouse Ford Mustang after Igor Sicuro raced the car at Vallelunga. Valerio Marzi and Thomas Toffel in the No. 9 Vict Motorsport Chevrolet and No. 34 Race Art Technology Chevrolet will be racing under heavy scrutiny from the stewards after their respective disqualification in the previous round.

Ten drivers are listed as entrants in EuroNASCAR Club Challenge. Headlined by the regular entries such as Gordon Barnes, Viktor Schiffer and Federico Monti, Club Challenge is also set to feature the three Team Bleekemolen PRO drivers.
Thomas Dombrowski, Sebastiaan Bleekemolen and Vittorio Ghirelli have declared their intention to take part under the extra practice provisions. Seeing that Team Bleekemolen is the defending race winner in ENPRO at Most, getting all of the track time can be beneficial for the Dutch team’s aspirations to win again at the 4.212 kilometer long circuit.
