After announcing his participation in the upcoming ARCA Menards Series West race at Phoenix, Alex Sedgwick has revealed that American disaster restoration company BELFOR Property Restoration will become the primary sponsor Sedgwick’s ride on his ARCA debut.
Following the announcement that Alex Sedgwick will be making his ARCA Menards Series West debut in their season finale race at Phoenix, Sedgwick has revealed that BELFOR Property Restoration will be sponsoring the No. 12 Bill McAnally Racing Toyota Camry ride that he’ll drive on his ARCA debut.
BELFOR will be joining Wiley X as the companies that will sponsor Sedgwick’s ARCA West debut next weekend, with BELFOR acting as the primary sponsor while Wiley X will be acting as a secondary sponsor.
“We are excited to support Alex Sedgwick, a European driver on a mission to become the first full-time European driver with a top team in NASCAR here in the United States,” said Sheldon Yellen, CEO of BELFOR Property Restoration on the official announcement.
BELFOR Property Restoration, the world’s largest disaster restoration company, has provided its customers with services needed for them to return to normal operations in the aftermath of a man-made or natural disaster for over than 75 years. BELFOR Property Restoration is part of BELFOR Holdings, Inc. a $2 billion entity based at Michigan with branches in more than 50 countries across the globe.
While BELFOR has been involved with motorsport as the title sponsor of the Indoor Auto Racing Series, BELFOR’s sponsorship with Sedgwick will be their first sponsorship appearance in NASCAR.
BELFOR is also committed to provide sponsorship for Sedgwick in 2021, with Sedgwick also revealing that he has been in talks to compete in both ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series for next year, suggesting that he has been already in talks with some “top teams” for a chance to compete in both ARCA and Xfinity for 2021.
“I’m really excited to partner with BELFOR and to welcome them to the world of NASCAR,” said Sedgwick. “It feels fitting to be associated with a successful family-run company since I am fortunate to be where I am today, thanks to the dedication of my own family. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to represent Sheldon, Brandon and everyone at BELFOR and look forward to putting on the BELFOR branded firesuit for the first time.”
“We intend to follow in BELFOR’s footsteps, as the leading company in their field, by leading the way on the track, at the start of what I hope to be a long and successful relationship.”
