Vladimiros Tziortzis secured eighth place in the 2025 EuroNASCAR PRO standings, a result that the Cypriot said was a “huge step” forward for his future.
Vladimiros Tziortzis said that he and SpeedHouse made a “huge step” forward and had “positive developments” during the 2025 EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder.
Tziortzis entered the Finals with plenty of ambition. The driver of the No. 64 HTFX Ford said after the Oschersleben round that he can still finish as high as third place in the standings.
Finishing third overall did require a tremendous amount of luck to fall in Tziortzis’ favor, so the Cypriot also placed a goal of moving up in the overall standings – which was more realistic to achieve.
In the end, the latter goal was successfully achieved. A tenth and twelfth place finish in the two Zolder races was enough to move Tziortzis up to eighth place in the final standings.
He ended his year with 416 points, a new career-best for Tziortzis despite being 126 points behind champion Vittorio Ghirelli.
Tziortzis also noted that he was happy to be able to survive the races. The 28-year old is teammates to Giorgio Maggi, who had a violent rollover in the Sunday race with his No. 33 Sud-Ouest Remorques Ford Mustang.
“I’m happy with how both races went, they were survival ones,” said Tziortzis in his official press release. “I scored the points I had set as my target to move up the standings.”
Eighth place in the standings was a new career best for Tziortzis in EuroNASCAR PRO. He finished eleventh in his debut year in 2023 before dropping down to twelfth in 2024.
Tziortzis acknowledged that there has been difficulties in achieving this result, admitting that SpeedHouse’s development path in 2025 have been “lacking in terms of performance”.
However, Tziortzis notes that 2025 is still a “huge step” forward for his career in EuroNASCAR’s top division and is confident that the 2026 season will be better for both him and SpeedHouse.
“This year was a huge step and as it turned out, it was for the better,” added Tziortzis. “The changes attempted in the team’s cars this season appeared to be lacking in terms of performance, but we will now focus on achieving our goal in 2026.”
“There were many positive developments over the weekend, which we will be able to officially announce in November.”
