Liam Hezemans and Gil Linster discussed plans to bounce back and give Rette Jones Racing the “best possible result” in the second half of the 2025 EuroNASCAR season.

In the build-up to the NASCAR GP Czech Republic at Autodrom Most, Rette Jones Racing drivers Gil Linster and Liam Hezemans spoke of their plans to bounce back in a press release published on RJR’s official website.

Rette Jones made its debut in EuroNASCAR this year, having effectively taken over the championship winning No. 50 Hendriks Motorsport team during the off-season.

The American team stacked their deck by not only retaining race winners Liam Hezemans and Gil Linster in the driver seat, but also the full support from Hendriks who managed the entry on Rette Jones’ behalf.

With high expectations and a line-up of highly experienced team members, many expected a strong debut season for RJR and the No. 30 Port City Racecars Ford Mustang.

While the season has proven their status as an immediate top contender, problems both on and off the track have hampered its potential.

Liam Hezemans’ title chances in EuroNASCAR PRO were hurt by three DNF’s. As for Gil Linster, a prolonged bout of illness have – effectively – eliminated the Luxembourger from the EuroNASCAR OPEN championship battle by the summer break.

Therefore, both Linster and Hezemans set their sights on better results in the second half of the season. They believed that consistency and teamwork from everyone involved will be the key to achieve it.

“After missing time earlier this season, the biggest thing for me now is bouncing back and getting into a rhythm,” said Linster in the official release.

“Consistency is going to be so important and I want to make sure I’m giving everything I can to put our No. 30 Rette Jones Racing Ford Mustang up front.”

“With the support of Rette Jones Racing and Hendriks Motorsport, I know we have the tools to be competitive.”

“The last couple of races haven’t gone the way we wanted,” adds Liam. “However, that only makes us more motivated to bounce back.”

“In this series, every point matters, and we know we have the speed to run up front. The work that everyone at Rette Jones Racing and Hendriks Motorsport has been putting in gives me a lot of confidence heading into this weekend.”

Naturally, both drivers also want the “best possible result” in their 2025 championship positions. While Hezemans is looking forward to contesting the title in the Playoffs, Linster simply wants to finish as high as possible owing to his absence at Brands Hatch.

“I want to get this No. 30 Rette Jones Racing Ford Mustang into Victory Lane and make a real statement in the Playoffs,” the 22-year old Dutchman said.

“We’ve shown flashes of speed and potential, but now it’s about putting it all together when it matters most.”

“I want to give everything I have behind the wheel and see how far we can climb,” adds the 31-year old Luxembourger.

“The championship is not out of reach, but I know it’s going to be a rugged mountain to climb. That challenge only makes me more determined to push harder, stay focused, and make the most of every opportunity.”

“With the support of Rette Jones Racing and Hendriks Motorsport, I believe we can finish the year strong and fight for the best possible result in the standings.”
