Loris Cencetti and Gordon Barnes spoke about their return to the NASCAR Euro Series with Marko Stipp Motorsport at the 2025 NASCAR GP Germany.
Marko Stipp Motorsport drivers Loris Cencetti and Gordon Barnes spoke about their return to the NASCAR Euro Series through MSM’s official social media accounts during the 2025 NASCAR GP Germany at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.
Cencetti was competing for the first time in two years, having last run in Rookie Challenge with Racingfuel Motorsport during the 2023 NASCAR GP Italy. For Barnes, the Germany round was his first appearance since Brands Hatch earlier this year.
Cencetti was also making his debut in EuroNASCAR OPEN with his return, racing the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro alongside 2022 runner-up Alexander Graff.

The Luxembourger proved to be competitive in his debut. Cencetti made it to the second Qualifying group with his Practice performances and finished 13th and 10th in the two races.
His best lap during the weekend was only one second off the leaders, showcasing Cencetti’s potential as he continues to gain experience for a possible first full-time campaign in 2026.
“My debut race weekend in EuroNASCAR with Marko Stipp Motorsport met all expectations, and even exceeded some,” said Cencetti in the official statement.
“The pure racing, the unique atmosphere, the many fans and the family vibes in the paddock are the reason why I want to be a racing driver, and you find all of that here in one place!”

Barnes competed alongside Cencetti in the sister No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro. The Brit has competed part-time in both EuroNASCAR OPEN and EuroNASCAR PRO, but it is his first appearance in the two main divisions with Marko Stipp.
This is something that Barnes noted upon in his post-race statement, as he is already familiar with Marko Stipp and his mechanics thanks to his successful Rookie Challenge stint.
“It was a fun weekend, although not without its problems,” said Barne, who finished 20th and 17th at Oschersleben. “After driving with Marko [Stipp] for 5 years now, this was the first time we did a full race weekend together. I think it confused them a bit!”
Marko Stipp Motorsport has also announced on social media that they’ll be returning for the Finals at Zolder. Their driver roster is currently unknown, but MSM promised that a “huge announcement” is coming in the near future.
