All six rounds from 2026 will be carried over to the 2027 EuroNASCAR season, featuring V8GP and the newly rebranded V8Open and V8Challenge divisions.
NASCAR Euro Series announced the official 2027 calendar in the middle of the 2026 Finals weekend, revealing that all six NASCAR GP’s will be retained for next year.
It meant that EuroNASCAR will be visiting Spain, France, the UK, Czechia, Italy and Belgium for the upcoming season.
All events will also retain their current positions in the calendar. One minor change will take place with the American SpeedFest at Brands Hatch, as it is scheduled to be held in the second week of June instead of the first.
The calendar announcement also revealed another change in the division names. To bring OPEN and Rookie Challenge more in line with V8GP, the two divisions are set to be rebranded as V8Open and V8Challenge starting from 2027.
“We are not simply building a racing calendar at some of the most iconic circuits in Europe, we are building the future of NASCAR in Europe,” said Jerome Galpin, EuroNASCAR’s founder, President and CEO in the official announcement.
“Our championship continues to grow, reaching more fans and creating new opportunities across Europe. We are already laying the foundations for the next phase of that growth, while staying true to what makes us unique: pure racing, fierce competition and unforgettable experiences for our fans.”
With the mostly consistent calendar, it meant that the Valencia NASCAR Fest will host the season opener on 16-18 April 2027.
Circuit Ricardo Tormo is set to host the EuroNASCAR opener for the 13th time in its history, and the 15th overall event when combined with the 2012 and 2020 runnings where it hosted the penultimate and final rounds respectively.
The circus will then move to Circuit Paul Ricard, which hosted EuroNASCAR’s successful return to France this season.
EuroNASCAR will continue its collaboration with FFSA Championnat de France Camions (FFSA French Truck Racing Championship) to host the 2027 NASCAR GP France, which is scheduled for 21-23 May.
Brands Hatch will host the 14th edition of American SpeedFest on 11-13 June, confirming the return of EuroNASCAR’s crown jewel race.
Autodrom Most in Czechia will close out the regular season on 27-29 August. The NASCAR GP Czechia is expected to continue its collaboration with FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC), which hosted their Czechia round on the same weekend for the past six seasons.
FIA ETRC has yet to announce their 2027 calendar as of the writing of this article, but official confirmation is expected fairly soon.
The 2027 NASCAR Euro Series Playoffs will kick off with the Semi-Finals at Autodromo Vallelunga on 17-19 September.
The Playoffs will continue to feature two double points races for both V8GP and V8Open, setting the stage for the Finals that will once again be hosted at Circuit Zolder on 15-17 October.
V8GP, V8Open and V8Challenge will be joined by the Endurance Teams Championship, which will be used as the teams championship format for the fourth year running.
