Maral Ghazarian, Jacob Parry and five other drivers confirmed their plans to compete in the 2026 EuroNASCAR Rookie Challenge season.
NASCAR Euro Series’ regularity-based division Rookie Challenge is set to feature a stacked field of competitors following a series of announcements that EuroNASCAR confirmed on 12 April 2026.
A total of seven drivers will join the eight drivers that have already announced their plans, bringing the number of points contesting entries to a record high of 15 for the season opener in Valencia.
The additions were highlighted by Racing Women talent Maral Ghazarian, who will make her stock car debut with Rette Jones Racing.
Ghazarian started her racing career in 2022, when she discovered Racing Women – or Formula Women as it was known back then – through TikTok.
Ghazarian quickly found herself addicted to motorsport and quickly progressed through the Racing Women’s academy ladder. The Swiss made her competitive debut in late 2023, where she took part in the Javelin Sprint Race at Mallory Park.
Further participation in Formula Women’s Nations Cup and Radical Cup UK would follow before she was announced as part of Rette Jones Racing’s No. 30 OnlyFans Ford team.
Ghazarian is not the only female driver set to contest the 2026 Rookie Challenge season. Nicole Davidson and Robin Bleekemolen are both set to stay with their respective teams Lux Motorsport and Team Bleekemolen.
Lux also welcomed Ofek Eliyahu to Rookie Challenge, where he will race the recently confirmed No. 20 Camaro.
Curiously, Eliyahu’s name is not listed in the EuroNASCAR OPEN entry list, suggesting the possibility of Eliyahu being released by Alumitec Racing before the season had even started.
Recruitment Test graduates filled the remaining additions to Rookie Challenge, headlined by Welshman Jacob Parry who will race with CAAL Racing’s No. 73 team in 2026.
The Ruthin-based driver is set for her biggest challenge to date as he steps up from Britcar and Clubmans Sports Prototype Championships to the world of EuroNASCAR with one of the sport’s most successful teams.
“I’m really excited to be joining CAAL Racing for the 2026 season,” said Parry to World of EuroNASCAR. “It’s a strong team with a lot of experience in the championship, so it’s a great place to take this next step.”
“The focus for me is to adapt quickly, be consistent and make the most of every session I can. At the same time, I want to use it as a platform to show I can progress and compete at a higher level within the NASCAR Euro Series.”
“All in all, it’s a big change for me so I’m looking forward to learning and progressing as the year goes on!”
Belgian Jens Beeausaert will combine his GK4 Kart Series participation with a Rookie Challenge campaign with Club Competition, while Maximillian Seth completes Bremotion’s line-up as the Rookie Challenge driver of the No. 77 BS+ Competition / AspiraX Camaro.
