EuroNASCAR announced that they’ll be resuming the Drivers Recruitment Test sessions throughout the 2025 off-season period.
NASCAR Euro Series’ popular Drivers Recruitment Test (DRT) programs will be back for the early months of 2025.
The series announced that DRT will be open from January to March. All future 2025 DRT tests will be held at Circuits de Vendee, EuroNASCAR’s traditional testing venue.
This approach is noticeably different from previous Recruitment Tests, which had set dates announced for its running.
Under this new approach, it’s theoretically possible for interested parties to book a DRT test at any date they wish so long as it’s done in the 2025 off-season period.
“The NASCAR Euro Series continues its Drivers Recruitment Test for the 2025 season from January through March 2025,” EuroNASCAR announced on 3 January 2025.
“After a successful start to the program at the Circuits de Vendee in Fontenay Le Comte, France, the series is offering many opportunities to test a EuroNASCAR car and build a program for the April 12-13 season opener at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.”
“Contact the EuroNASCAR management, submit your preferred dates and book your package. With customized solutions from TEAM FJ, owner, founder and promoter of the NASCAR Euro Series, the DRT is the best way to start a NASCAR career in Europe.”
One Drivers Recruitment Test has been held for the 2025 season. Initially scheduled to be held on 9-10 December 2024, threats of snow and cold weather forced its postponement to 19-20 December 2024.
This Drivers Recruitment Test had three participants taking part in the sessions. eNASCAR star and part-time real racer Garrett Lowe was among those that took part in the December DRT test.
A special Feature article highlighting Lowe’s participation in EuroNASCAR’s DRT can be checked in this link here.
