British team Lux Motorsport will not be changing their pink livery for 2025, as revealed by Jack Davidson on social media.
Lux Motorsport, the Scottish-based team owned by the Davidson family, made plenty of headlines in the 2024 NASCAR Euro Series for a number of reasons.
Hailing from the Davidson family’s farmland in Scotland, Lux became the first British team to enter and win an EuroNASCAR race. They also gained notoriety for their striking pink livery.
The pink livery that adorns the GT Omega-sponsored No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro was unlike any other. Lux’s star driver Jack Davidson made a point to choose pink so that it stood out from his rivals.
Suffice to say, this decision paid off greatly. The pink colors gained Lux plenty of following from EuroNASCAR fans. This support was carried into the post-season, where the No. 21 car was voted by the fans as the best livery of 2024.
This success has buoyed Lux to maintain their pink livery for the upcoming 2025 season, as revealed in a social media update published by Jack Davidson during the holidays.
“Since the last round at Zolder, we’ve been trying to sort out a new livery for next year,” said Davidson. “The car was voted as the best livery of 2024, so we’re not going to change it much.”
“I thought that a design that’s more complicated would look really cool. The issue is that if we had damage during race weekends, we have to rewrap it in the same way it was before.”
“That’s unfortunately not really feasible. We’re going to sort something out that looks really good, but also is doable for race weekends.”
This status update all but confirmed Lux Motorsport and Jack Davidson’s plans to stay in EuroNASCAR for 2025.
Davidson piloted the No. 21 car to sixth in the overall EuroNASCAR 2 standings in 2024. The Scotsman took a popular victory on his home round at Brands Hatch and scored five additional top-5 finishes.
Davidson also shared driving duties of the No. 21 car in EuroNASCAR PRO along with Liam Lambert. Lambert took Lux’s best ENPRO finish with an eighth place finish in the season finale at Zolder.
