EuroNASCAR has announced the package plans that are on offer for the 2025 Recruitment Tests that will be held at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben next month.
NASCAR Euro Series has announced important key details for the 2025 Recruitment Tests, scheduled to be held at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on 10-11 December 2024.
Previously known as the Drivers Recruitment Program (DRP), the 2025 Recruitment Tests at Oschersleben will be the first to be held under the NASCAR Euro Series banner.
It’s also the only one of its kind for the 2025 pre-season, because two Recruitment tests at Circuit de Vendée that were scheduled on 23 October and 15 November have been quietly cancelled.
“Since the inception of the NASCAR Euro Series in 2009 by the championship’s organizer and promoter Team FJ, the organizer and promoter, hundreds of professional racers, young talent and amateur drivers have joined the official NASCAR championship in Europe,” announced EuroNASCAR.
“Team FJ offers tailor-made solutions and scholarships to join EuroNASCAR for the 2025 season and the Recruitment Tests at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in Germany on December 10-11 will be the best opportunities to build a program.”
Despite the change in name, three packages remain on offer for interested drivers. The list is as follows, but do note that the price listed are excluding additions from Value Added Taxes:
- Discovery package: The basic package that includes two (2) on-track test sessions. Available for €1,150.
- Advanced package: The intermediate package, which includes six (6) on-track test sessions. Available for €2,850.
- Pro package: The full package in which a driver gets one (1) dedicated car for the full day. One car can only be shared by two (2) drivers at a time. Available for €5,950.
Uniquely for the 2025 Recruitment Tests, the series openly listed the budget that will be needed for drivers to compete in both EuroNASCAR and NASCAR in the United States.
A full season in one of EuroNASCAR’s two main divisions – PRO and OPEN – requires a budget of approximately €95,000 ($101,825). For a season in Rookie Challenge, a budget of €25,000 ($26,797) will be needed.
Participation in the “Road to America” training program will set you back €50,000 ($53,953). One race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series required a budget of €85,000 ($91,107), while €250,000 ($267,963) is needed for a shot at competing in the NASCAR Cup Series.
As always, drivers selected in the Recruitment Tests will receive a “scholarship” that will help them to become the latest members of the NASCAR family.
“Book your package to take laps in the car and meet Team FJ, including NASCAR Europe President Jerome Galpin, the technical staff and the media team,” added the series.
“Based on your individual needs, Team FJ offers customized solutions to join the series in 2025, depending on your speed, budget and overall public exposure.”
“Team FJ will manage and customize your individual plan not only to start a racing career in EuroNASCAR, but also to build a sustainable, promising and cost-effective program to establish yourself in the world of NASCAR.”
“Whether you want to start in the Rookie Challenge, OPEN or PRO, the Galpin family has the expertise to find the best program adapted to driver needs and budget. Book your package now and start your engine to become a NASCAR driver in the NASCAR Euro Series.”
